Desobry 16 INCH TV with DVD Player Built in 1080P LCD TV DVD Player Combo with HDMI USB Monitor for Home, Kitchen, RV Camper, or Office,RV TV

We have visitors coming and have a small guest room with a slide out drawer next to the bed. We were looking for a nice, light weight entertainment center they could enjoy. I chose this brand because I previously had purchased a CD and a DVD player of the same brand and they have been great. I am very happy with this unit as it gives them many options. They can watch DVD's, listen to audio disks, view pictures or other material from a USB device, or hook up to an external video player. And of course, the TV. It has a good picture and sound for a small unit. The remote offers nice options such as zoom, freeze, skip, fast forward/rewind, subtitle, etc. It would be great also for camping, kid's room, or a kitchen counter unit. I'm sure they will love it. It will be a few weeks before they arrive, so I left the protective plastic on while I store it so it will be clean and in perfect condition when they get here.

Dropped the remote on the flloor. Quite working. No replacements available and TV not compatible with generic replacement remotes. Poor software.....does not remember blocked channels.

For years, I'd had a 13-inch TV and a separate DVD player in my kitchen; when the DVD died recently, I was thrilled to learn that there are TVs with built-in DVD players. The size is perfect for my kitchen counter, and I am absolutely delighted with the product. The sound is good, the picture is good, and even though I only want it to play DVDs, it also comes with cords and capabilities for picking up cable and connecting to other devices. It even has an antenna -- AND included a screwdriver to connect the base! I couldn't be more pleased.

The TV is ok. The directions on securing the base are not clear but it was doable. The biggest issue is that it is not compatable with Direct TV remote. So I have to use two remotes. This TV remote turns the TV on and volume control. The DirectTV control controls the rest of the functions. Annoying to have two remotes, so I may return it. Otherwise, the picture is ok. it’s ok for the the kitchen

This set is just the right size for the space I wanted to place it into and I want to just say that I love the fact that the DVD will “LOOP” as I like to use it in a continuous play mode without stopping! Great feature… not sure that all of them have this, but I love it!

Pretty cool little tv, easy to setup but I’m going to give it 3 stars because I can only seem to get it to a resolution of 480p not 1080 like it is listed.

This particular TV had two black circles the size of a penny in the lower left covering the "crawl space" and more on the lower left. We returned the tv. The replacement TV is just as wonderful as the original without the black circles. My husband bought a "speaker" $10 to up the sound, but I had no problems with the sound and I am/will be the user of the tv.

The view is horrible from any angle except straight on and the sound is distorted and terrible from any setting. The connection to attach the stand is wobbly and had to be modified. There is no information about the product on the Desobry site; unfortunately a product review was unavailable on YouTube until October, and I purchased the product in August. It is definitely a disappointment and certainly not worth what Amazon charges for it.
