I love the convenience of these tune up kits. Everything you need in one box for your annual tune up.Helps keep your equipment running at peak performance. Much cheaper to maintain then to replace.I have been using these products on my John Deere lawn tractors for over 25 years and am only recently on my second tractor. The only reason I went to number two, it was gifted to me.As with service on any engine a certain amount of mechanical knowledge makes the process much easier.

Oil Filter will not fit Briggs & Stratton 540cc engine
The only problem was that the filter included, John Deere OEM AM125424, would not fit onto the fitting of the Briggs & Stratton 540cc engine. Had to buy a Briggs & Stratton 492932S filter which matches the filter on the engine when the mower was bought.

The kit worked awesome for my E110. Easy to install, if you get lost just watch the video on the John Deere site. installed everything in about 30 mins (draining the oil took the longest) Quick tip is to rip a piece of the box that it cam in to make a "Drip guard" for when you take the oil filter off, as it will drip on the frame and belt causing white smoke until burned off. All in all 5 stars and will buy again every summer!

Oil change was a breeze & saved big $ w/ DIY
The dealerships will charge big $ to service your John Deere lawn tractor. There are plenty YT videos on how to DIY, so I gave it a shot. It worked well for me and saved me a couple hundred dollars VS paying for transporting and servicing w/ a dealer. It just didn't feel right to pay more for a mower oil change than my car!
