My favorite watercolor paper for practice! I’m new to watercolors, so I was looking for decent paper to use for practice. This paper is thick, very absorbent, and doesn’t warp as much as other brands I’ve tried. The size is perfect for my needs. The texture is great - not super rough, but it has good bleeding without the paint going everywhere. I’m going to buy more in a larger size.

I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with this paper. I honestly don't use watercolor paint hardly at all, however, I really purchased it for using fineliner pens and pigment ink.I was worried that the texture would make drawing straight lines difficult, but with this, I've really had no problem whatsoever. The last batch of watercolor paper I purchased made it extremely difficult to make straight lines, so I thought I would try a different brand. This is actually fantastic!Even though I don't usually use watercolor, I did break out my set of watercolor markers to see how they worked - and I was immediately satisfied with how the paper performed. Even if I put a decent amount of water on it, it held strong, didn't make little paper balls or anything. Plus, just about any color of paint or ink looks fabulous and really stands out.Next time I run out of watercolor paper, I will definitely be getting more of this!!

as expected, feels like good quality

They did warp when I used a lot of water but I expected it and just added to the charm of my paintings. I glued the paintings onto cards and had perfect homemade Christmas cards. I would purchase again.

Thick and good quality

I’m a professional watercolor artist and I love this paper for trying out new techniques and ideas. It gives me freedom without the pressure of “messing up” expensive paper. It’s durable to withstand multiple layers and gentle rubbing for pigment removal. Well worth the money.

Great paper for the price point.. I am in my era of small paintings and needed more paper that wasn't going to break the bank. This was perfect. It didn't curl and did spectacularly well for wet on wet. I'll buy again.

I used these to make Christmas cards and they worked really well! They're heavy-weight and didn't pill when I went over with multiple layers of acrylic paint. They slightly bend when dry, but that's unavoidable usually, easy enough to flatten again.
