Was used as a backing for suppression covers to prevent the outer nylon from overheating during rapid heating. The glue on the backing was low quality that’s why we gave it a 3 star review, we had to go back and apply at least a super strength 77 or 90 extreme industrial adhesive to get this to adhere, with the added adhesive it will stay on and bend too. I would recommend using an additional layer of industrial grade adhesive on the backs to make sure it stays on walls or other surfaces. We tested the product with a lighter to see if it repels heat or catches fire it stays cool to touch and it is a safe heat blocker.

I thought this would be an easy fix for having my air fryer close to a back wall. I was wrong while the product looked nice going up and was easy to apply. It does not stick.!!! It keeps peeling off and so I will have to remove it and look elsewhere for a solution.

The heat level is the same, i was going to try it by hand, but refrained in the last minute, and the surface was blazing hot, no difference at all, just a waste of money.

Polaris utvs are notorious for overheating wires and lines. I used this to cover fuel lines and wiring harness that run close across the exhaust. Simple to install and should help protect.
