Nikon AF-S Nikkor 200-500MM F/5.6E ED VR Lens (Black)

Nice Telephoto lens from Nikon, was planning to buy AF-P 70-300mm f4.5-5.6 lens then saw this on amazon, waited for season and got it for 79999 and got extra discount through SBI card. Gets very nice photos, would recommend this, but be cautioned this lens is heavy and requires tripod or mono-pod attaching few photos with zero correction [D3500 Nikon DSLR]. The photos of moon are taken @200mm ~ 300mm and 500mm ~ 750mm without cropping

Great lense. Awesome product from nikon. A bit heavy but one can be used to it.

I was worried about buying this online no doubt, but Amazon hasn’t disappointed in this case.Got the original sealed box from last month’s import, no damage or any issues on the lens.I bought it from Appario Retail and it was delivered in good condition with seal and proper packaging. Got it for 84,490 and love that there have been no issues so far. Will update if I find any issues in functionality; so far fresh out of the box everything is alright!

I had this lens in mind to buy and finally bought it and while the build quality is amazing, the size and especially the weight is something that we need to get used to. I have yet to try it out in field and eagerly waiting to see the result.

One of the best products of Nikon for DSLR. Loved to have it in my collection. The seller provided it with a nice cloth bag which will be handy to protect the lens while carrying. Hope to use it well for my upcoming winter trips and to write last few pages of my upcoming books.

Was looking for a 500 mm lens to upgrade my gear and there is nothing like this product from Nikon. Amazing photography ..I suggest all DX users of Nikon to spend on it if you need to explore wild life photography before stepping on to FX body

The packaging was good from outside, but the seller had filled the box with waste paper, old magazine and old cardboard as reinforcement to the lens package. This is still fine.Coming to the actual lens package, the top seal was NOT broken, but the bottom seal was broken and seems like the package was open from the bottom.I still went ahead and opened the lens just to see the lens cap was open both front and back and the cap was loosely fallen within the bubble rap. (See the attached images)And on the part where the luns gets attached to the camera, I see some dirt and grease on it.All the says the packing was hampered and was repacked after use.I did a basic test with the lens and did not find and functionality issues, will be testing it more and updating my comment

After using 3rd party lenses for a long time, I made the decision to switch over to this lens. And boy, ain't I glad I made the switch? There is a vast difference in the image quality.The f 5.6 is a just apt for making beautiful images at a long end 500 mm. This is a perfect lens for birding and wildlife. The AF works fast enough to capture swift movements of a bird in flight. At long end (500 mm), it renders a sharp focus and lovely bokeh to create beautiful images of seemingly tiny birds.In all, a must buy for enthusiasts (provided you use a Nikon body)!!!
