Using as an alternative to deodorant
I bought this after researching alternatives for natural deodorant. I usually have a VERY difficult time finding one that works well for me. Most of the deodorant aluminum free or with aluminum, mask the body odor but do nothing to stop it. I bought this and I was so surprised to see the difference after one use. I rubbed the stone in my under arms right after taking a shower and used no deodorant- let me tell you I have never had such a great turn out- there was no smell, no funky pit stench even after working a 12 hour shift. Best believe I will no longer be buying store bought deodorants and this will be my go to moving forward. Hope this helps for anyone on the fence in using this for the same purpose I did.

Natural Aftershave
Great for preventing razer burn! My skin gets super irritated after shaving, especially on my neck. This reduces the rash significantly when used after shaving.

Poor Quality
UpdateThe seller contacted me and offered a refund that I accepted. Great customer service, so I have made a change to my review.This came with one end very jagged. I have used it about 20 times and some pieces broke off the end. I used a wet cloth in an attempt to buff the sharp edges and found a void in the center of the block. Very disappointing!

Excellent piece of alum
This is an excellent piece of alum that came in a nicely packed box. My father used it and he says it smells and feels like 100% alum. Alums are great natural antiseptics for wounds, aftershave, etc. I recommend it.

I expected a solid stone.
I've only used it a couple of times so far, but haven't noticed any significant difference using this or not using it before my aftershave. Perhaps if I was a regular wet DE razor shaver? I think I may get as much use if not more using as a deodorant. I thought this would be more solid calling it a rock or stone but the ends of the block tend to crumble with useWe'll see how long lasting it is
