Picture doesn't do this justice.. it's bigger than it looks, at a fair price too. While many would think it expensive.. nearly a fiver for one nail file, it's a fine example of "you get what you pay for". Emery boards are a waste of time.. my nails are too strong & need a metal nail file, to keep them nicely manicured. Spent a fortune over the years.. trying different brands in the hope they don't smooth off after minimal usage, failed to find any that stood the test of time.If you have brittle or soft nails that bend easily.. this file wouldn't be suitable, I'd call it heavy duty. Definitely not suitable to carry round in your handbag.. for use in "nail emergencies" more for, a full "at home" manicure. Enough give for it to curve around the nail without feeling it's going to snap.. I prefer the metal handle as opposed to usual plastic, far more robust. Edges aren't sharp so no cutting into the quick of nails, like other ones have in the past.Will report back after a few uses.. see how long it lasts, only time will tell.

My podiatrist told me I should get this to remove the build up of hard skin on my big toes. It is effective. She claims that she uses it to file her toe nails rather than clippers, but I have not done this myself.

Perfect and fast delivery

Nice big nail file, rougher on one side than the other. I presume the coarser side is for dry foot skin or something similarly ghastly. It works magnificently for these and, I assume many other purposes. If you wanted to smooth a chip out of the rim of a glass? Get it. I suppose there's plenty of other things to do with it in the engineering field but none come to mind. To summarise: steel file, diamond abrasive.
