I’ll be doing sourdough for couple of days now and I was looking for the best jars This kit is a good starter kit. The jars are of excellent quality, and the wooden lids add an elegant touch. Accessories, such as the spatulas and the date-marking band, are very useful for keeping track. The cloth cover allows for proper fermentation. Highly recommended

I unpacked this sourdough starter the moment it arrived and began my sourdough starter. This includes everything you need to get your sourdough starter going - minus the flour and water! It includes the jars, scrapers, lids and cheesecloth. Added also are temperature stickers and bands to put around your jars so you can track your progress on making the starter. Great little set! I'll try to remember to come back and chart my progress! Recommend! #gifted

Good for beginners or experts
I've been baking for about 5 years now, and sourdough has always been a bit intimidating to me. I've tried feeding a starter and having it go green or explode on me. These are so cool though, because they make it easy to measure and keep track of feeding. I love the included spatulas, makes it so easy to feed and less mess. Hoping I can get the hang of it fast and have some good bread to share with the fam asap

Sizes are off a bit
The side scraper is a little too tall for the jar and the jar has a lip which makes it super hard to clean when feeding.

I'm so excited because it will be my first time making bread from scratch, and I was looking at other options but I definitely chose the best one. I love the material and how elegant it is and it comes with more accessories that complement it.
