I took a chance on these. Half of the reviews said they were good and half said they didn’t work.They don’t work. Don’t spend your money on this knockoff. Just buy the real replacements if you don’t want your house to smell of rotten food every time you run your machine.

We purchased Vitamix Food Cycler FC-50 more than a year back, and since then, we have been big fans of not throwing away our kitchen waste, and making sure we process them through the food cycler, and use them in our backyard garden. Over a period of time, the filters that come with the original product lose their effectiveness, and you will need to replace the same. I think it was 6+ months of time. The machine will give you alerts for replacement.These replacement filters are a perfect fit for the original. They extend the life of your machine, and the quality of compost being churned out is great. You have to use 2 filters at a time. And make sure you 'reset' the filter setting so that the machine knows that you have replaced them. It immediately reduces the smell and odor from the product being churned out, and the machine also doesn't heat up that much. This is a perfect replacement for the original.

These filters seem to be identical to the ones that came with my FoodCycler. And they seem to be doing just a good of a job. The fit perfectly too.

I initially reviewed that these worked well...but they actually don't. We've used these for 3 compost cycles now, and the smell is really strong, to where we isolate the machine in a room with the window open. I will be buying the real filters from Vitamix.
