Love KitchenAid.
Love this gadget, easy to use and clean,it is a bit noisy when on low,I also think it should include the flex edge beater instead of what's included, i purchased this a week later and made such a difference from having to scrape the mixture off the sides all of the time.Best mixing machine I have ever had.

Good investment
Amazing quality, very efficient and more importantly easy to cleanHaven’t purchased many of accessories at the moment as trying to hold back enjoying all the fresh baked cakes and breadAll in all a good investment

Still the standard by which others are judged
Bought for my wife, who really appreciates it’s robustness, effectiveness and versatile range of accessories. A stylish addition to the kitchen worktop. I also bought a dustcover for it to keep it ready for action during (usually brief) periods of inactivity.

Whips and beats ingredients well!
I am used to the speed, and the heft of the machine. The bowl and the whisk are designed very well so that everything is beaten, leaving no residue behind.

brilliant
after using my kenwood premier chef for the past 8 years or so i was getting totally fed up with the noise ! and have always wanted a kitchenaid after always seeing them on tv cooking shows, my husband kindly purchased this for me as a Christmas gift and ive never been happier i have only used it a few times to make bread dough and whisk egg whites for ice cream however it is fabulous its quiet and doesn't move when in use ! very happy customer !

Rolls-Royce of stand mixers
The Rolls-Royce of stand mixers. Looks like it'll last until my baking-obsessed 11-year old daughter is middle-aged and making cakes for her children. A workhorse of a machine. And daughter adores it.

Solid iconic mixer with limitations
I found the Kitchenaid model numbers quite hard to decipher. This one is recommended apparently only for "occasional" dough mixing. It seems odd to include a dough hook then ask users to limit its use. I didn't find any problem with making a small loaf of white bread, no labouring of the motor or anything to suggest I was overloeading it, but I rather lost my faith in using the mixer for this purpose because of the warning. The flat beater on the other hand worked brilliantly and gave an evenly mixed light result with a classic creamed cake mix. The whisk did a good job on egg whites and also cream. As a kenwood user, the different weight distribution tooka bit of getting used to, and I pinched my finger once or twice in the hinge, pivoting the heavy "head" up. Once I'd got used to it though this was nolonger a problem.Mixing results were even and light and the finished cakes very good. The guard does save four going everywhere ut doesn't seem very robust. Speed control was OK, maybe less responsive than the Chef but a good range of speeds.I cant tell really where this model sits in the marketplace so cant comment on the price, but it seems solid, well made, works well and looks pretty. Hits the spot for me.
