Cold Air Intake Kit with Heat Shield Compatible with 2016-2018 BMW 120i 125i 220i 230i 320i 420i 430i B48 2.0T

I can only attest to the build quality of this kit as I ordered it for a car not listed. The powder coated aluminum had a very nice finish and fairly thick material. The filter cone itself was okay for the price point of this kit, while fitting it to the car the gasket kept popping out of the seam. The heat shield and weather stripping were made of good materials and while I will have to trim to fit my application, appear to be nice and straight lines with no bending or warping.While the power coating is a very nice touch it seems to have been done with haste. The sensor slot included powder coated screws however they did try to cross thread and the powder coating made getting an Allen key wrench inside the head difficult. There was a fair amount of overspray inside the intake tube itself as well, I tried to remove it with a wire brush but only got a few pieces so it was properly adhered although not correctly sprayed.Overall this is a decent kit in this price range, just a few quality control issues that need resolved.

Does not fit a 2017 Audi a3 2.0 turbo

Fits bmw f30 330i b48. Sounds a little better and prob adds maybe 5hp. It’s knock off MST intake and half the price. Intakes shouldn’t cost so much anyways and brand doesn’t matter. Quality is pretty good, but overspray of paint inside the intake tubing. not a deal breaker but cmon, it’s not hard to cover the tubes when painting. But hey for 150 I can’t complain

This cold air intake with heat shield has a nice overall look, but the quality isn’t quite what I was hoping for. There were noticeable creases in the air filter, likely from something pressing into it during packaging or shipping. The paint also had some overspray—not a dealbreaker, but definitely a sign of lower attention to detail.I also had some trouble getting the gasket to stay in place during installation, which was a bit frustrating. That said, once everything was installed, it seems to function well and should get the job done.Overall, it works and looks good from a distance, but the quality just isn’t quite at the level I expected.

Overall I am happy with this intake kit although it did have some short comings.The coating seems good and thick but it is not applied well, the surface finish does not look uniform.The heat shield took a little finesse to get it perfect and the sensor opening had to be opened just a tad with a Dremel tool.None of these issues were a deal braker for me because of the price, I don't mind having to do a little tweaking to save some money.The filter itself seems like it is a good quality filter and my engine feels a little more peppy with good throttle response.While installing this system took a little work I do feel like it was a good value.The issues I ran into could easily be addressed at the factory as they are nothing major.4 STARS

does NOT fit a 2018 320i, heat shield is way to big and the sensor hole is way to small. but then again you pay for what you get. save your money and get a expensive one well worth it

Fit i430 perfect and simple install, shield was a bit of a pain but a little bend here and there and good as gold when everything else on the car cost an arm and a leg it's great to find small thing to save money

Sure can hear the air suction now sounds like a low growl at lower rpms and goes into a powerful whoosh as rpms get higher. Sounds GREAT. Performance gain is noticable at the end of gear changes the most. Easy install for the most part. Parts are well made and have no concerns about durability of this product. The filter looks to rival the more known brands in quality and performance for the price, I don't think you can go wrong with this! ONLY negative comment I have is that some of the painted parts were scratched up from shipment from other metal parts rubbing against it. Nothing deep or too bad. A black paint pen fixed it up pretty fast and well. So no big deal but just had to comment that
