I got mine in perfect condition as described and would work as intended, but If you get a broken or chipped one, it would be great for some projects as it gives the slab some character.

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend for Christmas. Due to the pandemic it was hard to meet up. Unfortunately we opened it and realized it was the wrong item and it was after the return date for Amazon. I contacted the shop and they kindly let me keep the wrong item and sent the new one right away. I Love the board I got to keep and my girlfriend loves hers. I'm a really big fan of the company's values and will be a returning customer.

Used for display of antique glassware set. I can also use for a small charcuterie board. I like things that can be used in multiple functions and this works well for me .

I see that these can be expensive with similar products. I just use it as a cake stand for looks, but I like how it looks and seems sturdy so far. I conditioned it with coconut oil and it looks even more vibrant.

I love the item. However, used for the first time this weekend and noticed a crack along the edge majority of the way around. The crack is clear thru the other side. I'm sad and disappointed because I missed the return window by one day. Now, I will not be able to use this item as it is damaged.

I just received this and am returning it ASAP. The photos of the item as well as the description indicate it is a cross-cut section of acacia with bark attached, which is exactly what I want. The item I received is pieces of wood glued together, like a cutting board, with bark glued to the edge. It is roundish in shape, but definitely not a cross-cut of wood. It seems sturdy enough, but it's not what I want or what I ordered. If you're interested in a cross-cut wood platter and want to take a chance on this item, make sure you can get free returns in case you receive something similar to what I did.

I got this as a gift for my mom, who likes to set out charcuterie and appetizer type stuff whenever possible. She loves it and we've used it numerous times. There's not a whole lot to say about a slab of wood, other than it's a fantastic addition to any charcuterie or appetizer guru's selection of boards and platters. I definitely recommend this, especially if you want a rustic presentation. It looks fantastic with dried fruits and nuts, cheese, salami, etc on it and the possibilities may be endless.

The media could not be loaded. I love it! I bought it to sit a wedding cake on. The wedding is somewhat rustic and it’s going to fit right in.
