GORGEOUS GREAT DESIGN!

Cool Sword, but minor flaws
This sword is a fair collector's piece for anyone who liked the Narnia movies or just likes collecting swords or movie replicas in general. However, there are some minor flaws, but you get what you pay for. In my case, there were some scratches and marks on the crossguard, but they were not too noticeable from a distance. The cross gaurd was also off center on one of the sides which personally bothers me but it really is not too bad. The pomel on the sword is a very nicely detailed lion head as seen in the movie, it is made with real metal, not plastic as some are. The sword also comes with a wooden wall mount with a lion painted on it. It is a very nice wall mount and displays the sword nicely. All in all, it is a pretty decent sword with only minor nit pics.

I was disappointed that the sword looks a little better overall in the images than in person. The images clearly show gold lettering on the engraving, but on mine it was grey to black. Maybe someone forgot to paint it? Blade is sturdy and long, but the edges are blunted. Tip of the sword was a little rusty and worn, possibly from the black protector they had on the tip. The craftsmanship of the hilt could have been better. It is made of multiple pieces connected together rather than a single piece. On one of the points, the edge of the wood was cutoff a little shorter than the other points and not flush with the gold ring, so I could see inside. I felt like the sculpting on the lion pommel could have been sharper and more detailed. There were also a number of dents, dings, and scratches along the edges of the hilt. Curiously, there is an identical sword listed under Top Swords with more reviews, including customer images, that show the engraving in gold.

Minor imperfections, but overall pleased.
The weight of the sword was very nice. I was very pleased by the sword, though it had a few minor imperfections. The shield had some minor to moderate imperfections in it which I was too thrilled about, but overall I am pleased because it was a gift to my boyfriend and HE LOVED IT! Packaging definitely could’ve been better for the quality of the sword it is. It would be nice to trust putting the sword back in the package.
