Purchased for English as a journey text. Worked wonderfully with sections for the children to innovate.A lovely story that teaches empathy and compassion. Friendship themed. Highly recommend!

Best children's book EVER! Both the Lonely beast and the Brave beast are FANTASTIC!!!!!

One of my three yr old's favorite books. He kept wanting it from the library so I finally bought it! Fun read even for me about a "lonely" beast wanting to find some other beasts like him for friends.

My children like the book a lot it’s very fun story to read and the pictures are very great and good

My two year old son loves The Beast so much, on the first day he received it he wanted it read 3 times in a row, and then once the lights went out we had to whisper the story to each other before he went to sleep. It had quickly become a bed time favourite and he likes to tell other people about the story during the day.I have the follow up book waiting in reserve for a special treat now.The pictures are really lovely, really brilliant use of colour, and the beast just so loveable.Highly Recommend this.
