A very handy tool
Easy to use and sturdy. Held up well on a stucco job. It was just what I needed. Easy to clean. Nice price too.

Rivets filed down way to much.
Received today. Product looks sturdy only complain is where the rivets go it's filed down where you can see the outer ring. Seems like it'll come apart.

Received an apparently used trowel?!?!?!
I don't understand why the company would even let this sort of thing go to a customer. Falls in the "You had one job" meme area. The bottom edges feel mostly okay, but overall it looks like it went two rounds with a plumber and the plumber doesn't even need a shower afterward. There's also some stains and scratches on the bottom of it that lead me to believe that this is actually an item that was previously sent to someone and returned. In one picture, you can also see some sort of mottled rainbow effect in the metal on the top side of the trowel. This appears to be some sort of metal corrosion, or perhaps a very poorly applied surface treatment. Most of the bottom surface does not look like this, otherwise I might think that there had been a heat treatment. There is one green blot on the bottom surface and an edge defect roughly in the middle of it.I'm returning it for a replacement. Hopefully the next one looks like it is actually a new item and not like a used factory third.EDIT: Replacement trowel arrived in a similarly *used* appearance condition, not fully cleaned on the top of the blade, but the blade appeared to be manufactured differently and from different material. The top surface did not have the mottled appearance and the bottom surface had a smooth and not-brushed appearance (as in the first). Welds on the first trowel were more complete. However, the second trowel had a large nick in one edge (visible in the last pic). I called Amazon and asked what to do about the situation. I.e. could they talk to the supplier, should I try a third replacement or just give up on it? They suggested taking a refund, which I did. The trowel, overall, looks and feels good, but the supplier appears to be selling rework, factory seconds and/or returns through this channel. They clearly know how to make this product, but they need to figure out a way to get them from their factory, to the customers, in "new" and "undamaged" condition.
