I just installed it in the middle of the day. Turned off the lights and the room is pitch black! I love this! I don't even care about the reviews about the adhesive magnets. If I have to buy more magnets I will, but this blackout fabric is perfect and I have zero light coming through. Couldn't be happier!

After figuring out the math problem of how to cut the item so it would fit two 60x35 windows, I attached the magnets and our room is finally dark enough for our 2 month old! I ended up cutting the fabric for each section, so four pieces total. The tops are around 30 tall and 33 wide and the bottoms are around 28 tall and 33 wide. By subtracting the middle part from the equation, I was able to make this work! I needed two more magnets to have four on each piece but two at the top of the last one worked just fine since I tucked it into the bottom part of the window. I have some fabric leftover and may use it for the horizontal bathroom window but I would need to purchase more magnets.

The material is easy to cut, and I left a little extra just in case I needed it while hanging it up. It blocks out light really well. However, the adhesive on the back of the magnets doesn’t hold for long—mine stayed up for about a week before falling down. I think a quick fix from any hardware store could solve this, but while it’s not a huge issue for me, it could be a dealbreaker for others. Since the reviews mentioned the adhesive problem, I expected it. Overall, it's a cheap and temporary solution for now.

I work overnight and sleep during the day 100% darkness and keep the heat out.

I was trying to figure out the best option for blinds or curtains with cats who are desperate to get to the windows in the bedroom at night. It worked for about a day then they broke through then tore it down but the real reason for the 3 stars is the adhesive strips kept coming loose. I cleaned the wood surface before attaching but still didn’t help much

These light blocking panels are very efficient and the magnets make it easy to take them down quickly. I have used them in several rooms and they work very well. I was able to easily measure and cut to size with scissors.

Perfect for odd sized windows that would require custom blackout curtains. Great price. Easy to measure and cut. I didn’t want to loose the magnets, so I sewed little pockets for them and it works great!

We bought a new home and there are no blinds on the windows. It's so expensive to add the blinds so we opted for this solution and we are so happy we did. We have ours with the black side out because our hoa doesn't allow reflective material and it works great. As you can see I life thr bottom and magnetic it up so we can still have daylight come in. We use it in our master bedroom and baby's room. The magnets stick well to the winfow Fram and are easy to use. We purchased 2 sets and found cutting it to size was easy with plain scissors and tape measure, and we still have good leftovers for other windows. The material is good and thick so it blocks some heat as well. I highly recommend.
