Great for your face
These "flannel" washcloths are great; I've used them for years. They are not made of cloth, but of some kind of artificial material that very effectively pulls traces of makeup off your skin while remaining gentle. They almost have the texture of a chamois. They are quite soft when wet, but become hard when fully dry. I keep two and switch off morning and evening so that they can fully dry each day. You can wash them in the washing machine, but don't put them in the dryer as that will damage them.I will say that I have to replace them at least yearly--not because they wear out, which takes a very long time, but because I live in a very humid climate and they do eventually begin to get a little mildew. However, if you live in a drier climate than south Louisiana, or don't have issues with your shower curtain getting mildew, you will probably not have that issue. They're inexpensive enough that replacing them is not a problem.Overall, these are the best thing I've ever found for washing my face, and I'll keep using them as long as they keep making them.

Does its job over and over again and does not disappoint.
I previously used the Sponge Cloth (by Dermalogica), but they no longer make it, so I tried this one. I'm happy to say it was a good decision. This flannel (a name they use to describe the item, not the fabric type) is great. It does a really good job removing my makeup when used along with my usual cleansing products. The benefit of using it is that I can skip the need to first use a pre-treated makeup remover cleansing cloth or some form of a liquid makeup remover. This means less products to buy and less unknown stuff on my face to remove the makeup. Now I just go directly to my two-step cleansing routine and then wet the flannel, wring, wipe away all the makeup, rinse, and repeat until it no longer shows traces of makeup after wiping. It repels makeup stains and is rinsed clean under water, so it can be reused without the need for immediate laundering. The flannel gets hard when it dries like a chamois. The material is made to dry quickly to retain bacterial resistance and keep it odor free. It never has a musty smell from air-drying and reusing as towels often do. It saves my face-cloths and towels from makeup stains; it saves me the cost of additional makeup remover products; it does a great job of wiping off my makeup without scratching off my skin; it can be machine washed when needed, and then reused for a very long time. This handy dandy flannel, along with its now defunct Sponge Cloth predecessor, is a game changer for me!

Essential for my skincare routine
I’ve been using these reusable cloths for years now. I do the double cleanse method and love how easily, quickly and gently this face cloth removes my oil-based cleanser versus having to only use my hands. I can easily see all the makeup and gunk that comes off, and continue to rinse and repeat until nothing shows up on the cloth anymore. Using a cloth also allows for a slight exfoliation since it has a gentle texture. You definitely want to replace the cloth every few weeks or so, but for the price, it’s not a problem at all. It rinses out easily and dries quickly - I love it and use it literally every day!

Neat Alien Technology
Love this thing. I have allergies and often get watery & irritated eyes. With this thing I can carefully clean my eyes without adding any further lint or debris, like a wash cloth would. It's smooth with no fibers or roughness. Think of it as a ' rubber-sponge-cloth'. Definitely can use replacing depending on how much you use it, I'd say every 2 or 3 months. You can take some time to clean it yourself as well, eventually you might see some mildew or mold spots around the edges, which I just trim with scissors while waiting for my new one. Could be better but so far it's the best thing I can find. (I only use it for my eyes btw -- it's far too smooth to feel like it'll scrub me clean.)

Great shammy. Similar to Aveda's.
Well it seems Aveda doesn't make their shammy cloth anymore. I've used one for decades. These are made of a soft sponge material. I found two Aveda shammies last year, but unfortunately my puppy has twice jumped in my bathtub and chewed them up, uhg, she's obsessed with it. I bought this one to replace it and it's very similar, actually it's a bit softer and white, but it's about the same thickness as Aveda's. Because it's white, it's nicer because you know when your face is clean of all makeup, it's half the price too. After you use it you need to wash it with a bar of soap and squeeze, rinse it, and hang it up to dry for your next use and away from a puppy's reach! It stiffens when it dries until you put it under warm water for your next use. I just bought a spare and a special swing hook to hang it up and away from my Jack Russell Terrier Pepper's reach.

I have a feeling it's probably better suited for removing soap or other cleansing product than ...
The word washcloth is a misnomer. What this is, is a really thin sponge. I have a feeling it's probably better suited for removing soap or other cleansing product than it is for what I wanted a washcloth for. It doesn't seem to exfoliate at all, and that's too bad. It's certainly soft and gentle, and decidedly NOT flannel.I ended up getting a micro-bead exfoliating cleanser which I'm hoping will solve the non-exfoliating part of the "washcloth's" problem.I do like it, it just needs to be more clear in the description.

False advertising
This is not flannel as advertised, it's like a weird spongy material. It does a very poor job of cleaning the face. It only takes off a little bit of make up but most of it is still left on my face. Let me add that my make up is not water proof, its all natural, and I don't wear much of it...nornally it comes off easily. I cant understand how this product got good reviews.

Luxury Flannel Facial Washcloth
I bought one similar to this years ago (Dermologica brand) they unfortunately discontinued making them. I was very happy to find this brand. Softest cloth to wash your face or remove make up. You will never want to use a regular terry cloth one EVER again on your skin. I am going to buy a few more as gifts; because I am sure not everyone knows about them. Glad I bought 2~ I will purchase many more. They are machine washable and need to be air dried.
