Not for orchids
I bought this planter to try and keep some of my orchids in it.The planters will keep the coco coir plenty moist and generally speaking that's not good for most orchids. It's probably because the cords they came with is pretty thick and will draw more water than if they use a thinner cord.After two weeks of trying, I decided that it is not a good idea to put my cattleya in it.

Quality materials and quick set up. Makes life easier!
We just received ours. So far so GREAT! Easy to set up. Wish it would have come with directions but we followed the exhibit and figured no it out. (Amateurs lol) seems like very good quality materials. Will update on a few weeks to see how mature basil plant takes to the pot.

Love the self-watering! Works perfectly!
I used this to grow cat grass for my cats. In order to grow cat grass, you usually have to water it daily, sometimes twice a day, which gets a bit tedious. This product is a life saver! It’s definitely self-watering and it made growing cat grass so much easier. Very happy!

Good for orchids
Did not include the potting medium as advertised. This can be used to grow orchids using leca. I have all my phalenopsis growing in self watering pots and doing beautifully.

Very Nice Planter
A nice self watering planter at a good price. Sturdy plastic with a great water indicator. I needed this type of floating water level guide to help me give my plant just the right amount of water. Easy to use.

I love this self watering pots, I have total 10 plants and don’t have time to water them every day.Lucky I have these pots to help keep my plants alive. It’s really good quality and easy to assembleHighly recommended if you’re too busy to take care your plant, buy this pot !!
