[Upgrades]CHIYODA Single Watch Winder with Quiet Motor-12 Rotation Modes

Used to place my Rolex on the bathroom vanity at night and if I don't wear it on a given day, it would usually stop. Many times I would just skip correcting the date, so that became useless. Started to regret spending thousands on a watch that I have to constantly wear or manually wind fairly frequently. Now, I place my Rolex in this case each night and it seems to keep my watch wound ready to go even if I decide not to wear it for the weekend. Makes me appreciate the watch so much more. And the case seems to make it a showpiece. Very Happy!

I needed a watch winder that was battery operated so the choices were rather limited. This one runs on batteries or electricity. It is nice-looking and works very well and runs very quietly. I bought another one a few years ago that works well for my husband's watch which has a much larger band. My watch wouldn't fit on that one and I feel very lucky to have found this one. It works, it's nice looking and my watch fits. What more could you ask? Well, I wish it weren't quite so big. I really would like to find a battery operated winder that is small enough to take when traveling and that would fit in a room safe. In the meantime this one will do fine at home but it is too big to take on trips. If this one were a few inches smaller it would be absolutely perfect.

This is a nice watch winder. I purchased it as a gift for my husband for Christmas 2016. He absolutely loves it! It is quiet, stylist and well built. Uses it everyday! Unfortunately after about 12 months it stopped turning. It has an 18 month warranty so I contacted their customer service. I tried calling them but I always had to leave a message and we ended up playing phone tag so I decided to contact them by e-mail. When they got back to me they gave us a couple of troubleshooting suggestions. When those ideas didn't fix the problem they agreed to send us a brand new one at no additional cost to us. We received the new one in under a week. I hope that it was only a fluke that we had an issue with the 1st one and that we have this one for many years. We are very pleased with both the product and the customer service. I would recommend the watch winder and company.

While it's nearly impossible to reach these people by phone, they are very prompt in answering emails, which helped me (a noob) a LOT with their winders.Just an FYI for all Rolex Perpetual date Just watches,these watches require a 650TPD setting, that means to keep it fully wound you will need to keep it on 4-2448-TPD(if you sleep 7hrs a night with your watch still.) or keep it on 1-for 24hrs per day.If you are fortunate to sleep 8, divide accordingly.Only had it a couple of weeks if that, but I cannot hear it at all,sometimes I wish it would emit a stop and go beep,to be honest I d not see how it can turn even 650TPD on 1,as it seems like these need to be made to run continuously approx 20-30 mins at a time during the night to ensure a 100% wind.(you cannot over wind a Rolex),and according to mt Rolex Authorized Service Center it makes NO difference what direction it turns to charge the mainspring.

After my review below, Lugulake contacted me and immediately replaced the winder. The one they shipped didn't have an on/off switch, so they sent me another one immediately as well as labels for return. This winder seems to be working well. Time will tell! I will say that I won't hesitate to order from them again, though.This thing is NO GOOD. Just got it May 30th. I've replaced the batteries almost weekly, but now it doesn't run at all. I should've paid attention to the negative reviews, but I focused on the positive and ordered it. I'm $70 poorer at the moment and fixing to be even poorer than that because I have to order another. DO NOT BUY THIS WINDER — IT'S JUNK.

I researched many of the watch winders available for automatic watches and this model stood out. My prior experience with watch winders has not been good so that is the reason I researched new ones extensively. I really liked the features of this winder and decided to take a chance. I have not been disappointed with my choice. When the unit arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of the unit. First of all, it is extremely quiet. I had to move a previous winder into another room because the motor was so noisy - not this one - it's whisper quiet. Secondly, it looks big in the picture but it actually takes up very little room on the surface you have it on. This is not to say it is too small - I have two automatics that are fairly large in size (Rolex Submariner and Breitling Chronomat) that easily fit into the winder. Third, the unit may be programmed to turn clockwise, counterclockwise, or a combination of both. I wasn't aware that certain automatics need to turn clockwise and others counterclockwise - the most expensive winders have this feature. Fourth, the price is very affordable compared to other quality winders. All this adds up to a satisfied customer with his purchase decision! I would not hesitate to purchase another one of these units.
