Exactly What I Needed
I am replacing the railing on my stairs with hardwood and needed something that would allow me to drill 24 holes at a 40 degree angle. This worked perfectly!WARNING - You cannot use a keyless chuck, at least not the Dewalt or Craftsman that I own. The chuck is just too big.In an of itself, it's not perfect by a long shot. Here's the good:* It's easy to assemble* It's not as flimsy as some reviewers seem to indicate. Yes, the pole is not solid and doesn't appear to be the strongest, but it works. My 5 lb DeWalt hammer drill works fine. The base and drill attachment head are cast metal and see fine.* It fit my DeWalt 1/2" chuck hammer drill perfectly and allowed me to tighten it well. (you'l hear me say thins throughout this review but be VERY careful because the adjustment and tightening bolts will strip in a heartbeat.)* It drills on an angle exactly as I needed. With a 12 foot piece of railing there is just no way I could tilt the work piece in a traditional drill press. The "head" on this and the drill, itself, adjust on an angle and the work lies flat. I drilled 24 perfect 3/4" holes at 40 degrees.* It's light but sturdy enough to do most non-professional, DIY chores, so it's very portable. I can work on projects on the deck, backyard, in my workshop or wherever there's a solid, flat surface to set the drill press on.*It's as accurate as I need. I'm not a professional but I've been doing my own work for 30 years and this meets my needs. Very little wobble. Take your time. The Not-So-Good:* You get what you pay for. The bolts are flimsy and will strip if you tighten them too much. I'm going to replace mine with hardened hex bolts and nuts. That's what it come with and It shouldn't be an issue although I haven't done it yet.* The bolts are TIGHT when you get it. I thought I was going to break something trying to get them loose but that wasn't the case. They were just very tight. It was odd that they'd be that tight when they are so easy to strip.* I can't figure out how to attach the vice at four points. I got three using bolts of my own. None come with the vice, itself. The vice works well when it's all said and done.I wasted money on a drill guide that cost as much as this.

The vise doesn't come with bolts to mount it to the press.
Everything works as expected. Unless I missed it, the vise doesn't come with bolts to mount it to the base.

This product did not come with the vise
I specifically ordered this because it came with the vise and was a good value for the money. However, the vise was not in the box.

Great! For the money
Setup for my drill was a little bit of a trial and error. A little bit of aluminum tape on the stand's collar clamp worked nicely. Height adjustment is also a bit slow since you have to loosen M6 bolts with an allen wrench. I replaced the M6 bolts with ratcheting hand levers to speed up the adjustment. Also replaced the M4 bolt for the stop with a thumb knob to also make it easier to adjust. Might even source a longer column to give me more height adjustment. Not a replacement for a dedicated drill press. Perfect for most of what I do and very good for small spaces. For the money, I think it is great.
