JBL Synchros S100 Advanced In-Ear Stereo Headphones with Universal Remote, Black

I like the sound of these ear buds. They dont blow me away but they are on par with every other mid grade ear bud I have listened to. They excel in the low range bass and might be a little flat in the middle range. I like the 90 degree 3.5mm plug which I feels helps prevent the wire wearing out when in your pocket. My biggest complaint is that they are heavy and big so they dont stay in your ears. I use them at work so if I use the clip on my shirt I dont have too much issue but I wouldn't recommend them for anything remotely active were you move around a lot. They also came with the ear plug style expanding foam fitting buds which really help keep them in my ears and keep outside sound out, I really like the expanding foam buds. If there was a 3.5 star option I would have given them 3.5... maybe 3.75 stars.

These headphones are quite good. For the price, the sound quality is great; there is a good range and it has a good balance high and low tones. The headphones are well-constructed too. I mean when you handle them they just feel solid and well-made! The inner ear cushions that come with the set are comfortable and very lightweight. They are also quite easy to remove and clean which is a great thing if you are like me and want to keep your headphones clean.My only real criticism of these headphones is the nonsensical placement of the microphone. The mic itself rides low, about at my breastbone, and it often get turned around. This means that people often cannot hear me unless I hold the mic near my face, which gets old if I'm on the go or having a conversation that lasts more than a couple minutes. Minus one star for that, but otherwise this product is quite good. Don't buy garbage Beats headphones, buy the superior and less expensive product!

JBL Headset revisited:I was thrilled when I first received these headphones. After about three weeks of use, the cap on one of the earbuds fell off. Then the clip to clip the thick cable to your shirt broke. I called JBL, and to my chagrin, I was talking to India. I couldn't understand the person I was talking to. Then when I asked for help in getting a replacement pair of headphones, they told me they couldn't do that. I asked, how can I get them repaired. They asked for my phone number and email and said they would send me an RMA to send them in. I called back twice and gave them THEIR OWN case number. They said it didn't exist. After getting frustrated, I returned the headset and bought a pair of old standby Bose I've used for years. Their tech support is in Atlanta Georgia.I loved the JBL's but the earbuds didn't fit well in my ears, then two parts failed. Based on these issues, I can no longer recommend JBL headsets. I only hope they take better care of their professional musical line.

I love the JBL speakers and sound bar but I didn't really like these headphones.Pros- GREAT build quality, probably the best I have seen in sub $100 headphones- GREAT cable design, flat and L shaped 3.5mm connector, also has a cable holder you can attach to your shirt- Decent sound, decent mids, treble and good bass- Very low microphonics- voice quality is clear for phone callsCons- No rumble, just straightforward bass- Cable is a little too heavy- In ear fit was terrible for me, tried all attachments but no luck- Sound had a bit of an artificial feel to it

I'll start off by saying; these are good headphones. You'll be satisfied. However, the prices on this model and the S200 change all the time. If you can, buy the S200. It sounds better than this set. And the volume controls won't work with iphones (buy the S100i for that) but it is fully compatible with PCs with a splitter. So if this is your one earbud set (like me) you'll enjoy PC compatibility. Besides the S200 being a bit of a better deal, this is a very good pair of headphones. Durable, sleek, solid. You won't be disappointed.

I paid over one hundred dollars for this item an I only got at tops two weeks of use out of the product before one of the earbuds went out on me! They had a very remarkable sound I might add but I dont think ill be taking a chance dumping money in earbuds priced high such as these anymore in the near future!

The left side quit worki g after just a couple months. Disappointing when you spend $80 on ear buds and they don't last. Great sound when they worked

Bought two of these (android & iphone versions) they sound great and all the controls work with their respective platforms. Of note is that these (unlike other's I have tried) have both good audio sound and the MIC works well. I use mine for business conference calls and the quality is great. I recommend getting memory foam replacement buds for an even better fit. The Bluecell ones are a great value.

Sound quality is not what I expected for this prise range ,it's similar to other jbl headphones in low prise range

Too heavy and they keep falling of the ear

1. Great earphone sound quality. The base is optimum and the clarity is par with the price.2. These earphones are heavy due to the wire and driver materials used.3. The wire quality isn't good enough for the price point.So bottomline, it is great for indoor usage but not recommended for outdoors.I hope this review helped you to get some closure, if it did then please give a thumbs up :)
