the smaller bottle of 100 gelcaps contains added retinyl palmitate that is not listed in the description on the site anywhere unless you zoooom into the picture showing the back label... Which seems wrong considering some who want vitamin A have vision problems.... Amazon issued a refund no questions asked, but this feels like lying to me, unacceptable... I've asked them to update the description and until they do my review will remain... I have enjoyed the bottle containing 250 in the past, so that product is fine...as a side note semi-unrelated to this product:I would encourage people to do their research on the difference between retinol and beta carotene and just how much your body may or may not be able to convert of the latter as real vitamin A.... I know I don't want to have to consume 4.5 pounds of carrots in a day and cost my body more energy than needed with the flawed conversion many of us have, not to mention all the sugars from those carrots... Ideally liver would suffice, but I know not everyone can stomach it...

Was curing my acne after a month. Could see the light at the end of the tunnel and thought I finally found a solution. Unfortunately, my hairline thinned out aggressively. Of course, all good things can't just come as is. Cure one insecurity and spawn another. I stopped taking these supplements but still giving it 5 stars for doing what I wanted it to do and a good solution for those of you who are willing to risk your hair.

I bought this product because i needed it to control my super oily skin and acne. I've had acne for 27 years! I wish I had believed years ago that vitamin A would really help because I would have started using vitamin A a long time ago and saved myself a lot of scarring and low self esteem. I got this brand because it didn't have soy, and I was taking 60,000 iu a day with a 10,000 iu pill by another brand that I didn't realize was not non-gmo. I would take 2 caps 3x a day and that worked great on controlling my acne and oil production. It actually kind of left my skin a little dry. I started with one pill a day for 2 weeks and that did nothing! Moved up to 2 a day, then three. Nothing changed until 6 a day and that seemed to be perfect. My skin is super, super, super, oily!!! Since soy is the crop with the most pesticides used on it, I try to avoid it at all costs. Anyway, that other product worked great and I took it all. I figured that maybe taking a higher iu pill twice a day would be better. And I didn't want soy or at least want non-gmo. I started out taking 2 pills a day because I figured 50,000 iu was pretty close to the dose I was taking before. My skin was still getting oily and I was getting little breakouts. So now I'm taking 3 a day and it's not drying out my skin and it seems to be controlling the acne. I just like the results I had with the other brand better. I will not be buying this one again. I will be buying the other brand I used but non-gmo.
