Aloha and mahalo from across the ocean.
Thank you for such a wonderful, lightweight, and simple product which I thoroughly enjoy using. I have purchased those so called top of the line vacuum cleaners in my life but I must say this is the first time I have never dreaded having to haul out the old vacuum in order to deal with a quick cleaning issue. The old body just isn't what it used to be so any help I can get is greatly appreciated. This is my first stik vacuum and I'm asking myself why did I wait so long. It is so lightweight that I manage very well even on a bad day! There is more than ample suction power to get the job done and best of all it takes mere seconds to convert to the handheld version. It's fabulous for cleaning the tight areas in the bathrooms. I love it and would definately recommend this product to everyone. My stik arrived earlier than estimated and I paid less than one fourth of the price stores in my town are asking. Love the product and love the price! Just a little update. After a few months of using this product my cousin from who lives out of state and recently purchased her very large dream house called just to touch bases. Well after hearing me rant and rave about your great product unbeknownst to me she too decided to purchase the same thing at a local neighborhood Walmart at a much higher price. If I remember right the price was $25.00, much higher than what I paid I might add. A few weeks later she called to rant and rave about her purchase and just how much she loves your product and how it has also made her cleaning chores so much easier. Her exact words were, ''I just love this stick.'' Just thought you might like to know. Word of mouth travels fast!!! She should have bought it on Amazon, she could have saved $10.00 and it would have been delivered to her front door. It doesn't get any better than that. Great price, great selection, and home delivery!!! Try beating that. Another little pearl of wisdom that might be of interest. The head on this cutie is narrow and flat enough to be an extreme asset when cleaning my cabinets. Instead of the old duster and dust pan and broom, I now just run the stik in the cabinets and vacuum like I would my floors. It saves a lot of time and wasted energy I used before in toting all of my excess cleaning supplies. Hope this helps. Update for December 2017.....I think so highly of this little vacuum that when it went on sale this winter I purchased another one as a back up. If that's not love I don't know what is!!!!!

Cheap, effective, light weight and going strong after 12 years.
I bought this on July 1, 2012. It's is now May 2, 2024 and I have come back 12 years later to say I still use this vacuum and love it. I've had several other hard surface vacuums over these tears and this one has always been my favorite because not only is the suction great, but it's so light weight and easy to use. The only negative I could say about it us the short cord length, but I easily fixed that with a cheap, dollar store extension cord I leave on. It picks up dog hair, crumbs, dirt and dust and even bigger pieces like cheerios. It was $20 when I bought it 12 years ago and still going strong today. I noticed it's now $35, but if thus one broke then I'd buy it again.

More than you expect for the price
I bought this little vacuum 2 years ago when I was preparing for knee replacement surgery and needed to prepare for weeks of recovery but still keep the house tidy. (I can't stand dirt and disorder.) I was actually surprised at how well it worked. I had expected to use it only until I could handle my big vacuum, then give this to the goodwill. However, it worked well enough to change my mind.Pros: It picked up the visible dirt well enough that I continued using it well after the surgery; it is easy enough to use that I could vacuum with walker or cane--one hand is enough, and no heavy tank to pull.Cons: It did not fit together very easily so I never used it as a handheld or used the crevice tool, afraid I couldn't reassemble. The actual pickup under that cute little floor glide is only an inch wide so the pickup area is narrower than the glide. That means you make more pushes back and forth to cover the floor. The cup empties easily at first, but after a while you need to stick your fingers inside it to get out hair and lint that tend to clog up the entry point. The filter needs to be cleaned off with something like a brush followed by a damp paper tower every couple of months as replacement filters don't seem to be available. Only takes a few minutes, though.Overall: Obviously not equal to a more expensive machine, but better than expected. I continued using for mid-week pickups. Lately it seems to be losing its oomph and is missing more than it picks up, so I think it has served its purpose. For a bottom of the market vacuum, I am impressed. I am about to buy another, maybe the $45 one. The big, heavy, very efficient vacuum stays on the main floor most of the time and I use this one on the bedroom level, bringing up the heavy one only once every month or 6 weeks for deep cleaning. I find that this is good for surface cleaning of little bits of thing like hair, loose dirt, spilled powder, etc. , but you do need to get to the stuff before it gets caught up in the carpet (we have a low-pile and this vacuum does ok).
