Worth every penny!
If I needed to, I would definitely buy again. So easy to install and the thickness is perfect to create a heat barrier. It works very well. And with five years of use so far, it has proven to be great value for the money and very durable.

I should have bought this many many years ago. Why did I wait so long? It was easy to install and fit the attic opening. I no longer feel the heat escaping from the attic. I like that I can unzip it to go into the attic without having to take the entire thing off.

It Does Work
This is definitely worth the money. We typically keep our thermostat set at 74° but at 6 o’clock it was 81° upstairs. I didn’t install this until around 9 PM (had to wait until the sun was down). After I did I immediately felt the difference. We always had a hot radiant draft that came down from the attic into the hallway, so it was always hot upstairs. After putting this in, we felt good. In 1 hr the house was able to cool off 5° upstairs. If you have a hot draft coming down out of your attic, I would definitely recommend getting this. Installation is easy. You will need to staple it in place. I have a T-25 staple gun so make sure you have that or something similar when you are ready to install it. They recommend 4-6 inches apart but I went 3-4 inches just to make sure to seal it all the way around. I am very happy with the purchase.

Great product that I have been searching for!
Unbelievable difference in hallway where attic access is. Installed in 10 minutes even for an old lady! I went with this one because of the great reviews! Installed on 1976 build, so installing on an older home was a breeze.

A worthwhile investment
I was skeptical with this purchase but it has really helped control the temperature in my house! I have a modest home with two HVAC zones, and one thermostat is near the attic pull-down. In the hot Virginia summers, my 10 year old a/c system could not keep up and ran constantly on those 90+ degree days. With this installed, I am no longer having that problem. It was easy to install with a cheap electric staple gun and some metal duct/seal tape. Highly recommended!
