I needed a water proof cape and this is water proof unlike another one I bought. But it is a couple of inches smaller on all sides compared to the other one which made no claims of jumbo.

Ok!!!! This is not rocket science. This is a shampoo cape- keeps you dry while your stylists shampoos your hair IF she or he can keep the water just on your head. 👀😃

These capes are great if you’re just needing something for personal or home use, but as a professional hairstylist, I’m not super impressed. They can be washed in the machine, but are too fragile for drying, they have to hang dry. I will say that they prevent clients from accidental water exposure at the shampoo bowl, but I’m not sure how well they will last over a lot of use. Main takeaways: go ahead if you’re using them very occasionally for family hair care. If you’re a hairstylist, I would pass these up for salon use.
