DFI, 662-TMG/G, Socket 775, SIS 662, Intel Motherboard

Wow! I hope Amazon doesn't delete this post... It's really great seeing this item here... brings back many old memories! Having actually worked for DFI (Diamond Flower International) from 1989 - 1995 when they had a branch in Miami, Florida called DFI (SE). I can truthfully say they really made top of the line motherboards, video cards, network cards, etc. I still have an old 286 ATX DFI Motherboard which works today sitting in my closet. It can't run any current software, but it still boots up and is actually fun to hold and look at. After moving on from the company, they eventually closed the DFI (SE) branch and it was disappointing to see their products pretty much disappear off the market. We built thousands of computers for the Latin American market at this branch and I can honestly say we tested and checked every product in QC (Quality Control) to make sure everything was perfect. It would be great to find a current LGA 1155 or LGA 2011 motherboard on the consumer market today but so far I've been unsuccessful in my search. Having owned their 8088XT right up to their 486DX-UCB Motherboard was a great buy until other manufactures such as Gigabyte and Asus kind of dominated the market and pushed them out of the motherboard arena. I think to date, 26-Years later and over 30,000 computers built under my belt, ranging from assembly line manufacturing to building for family and friends, I can definitely say! If you find the need for one of these mainboards, video cards, etc. They're worth the money!
