I originally bought a different motion sensor light from Proxinova which was faulty. I returned it and recieved my refund really quickly. The company did contact me to try and rectify the issue but I had already started the return. This product is brilliant . Motion sensor on it is very good . It was for outside a front door but did not want it activating when people passed in the road. It did not disappoint it covers only the area that it is directed at. Really good light from it without being blinding. When the light comes on it goes off after 30 secs unless you are still moving around in the area. So you won't suddenly be left in darkness trying to find your keys etc. Once away from the light it goes off after 30 seconds. When it lights up it draws your attention, it definitely looks like a camera. Can not comment on battery life but I would say it would depend on the quality of the batteries you use .Time will tell. Super easy to install I used the screws to mount it on to a wood panel above the door, took me five minutes.

I bought this light to replace a wired security light that wasn’t working properly. I was fed up with having to call in an electrician to fix it. This light is very simple, but remarkably effective. I used screws to fit it on a wooden porch - you can unscrew the mounting plate and use that as a template to position the screws. Setting it up was very easy. My garden is about 60 foot long and the light illuminates it all the way down. The sensor activates at about 10-12 feet, which isn’t a problem, as the light is to deter intruders close to the house, and not the foxes at the bottom of the garden! The light stays on for around 30-40 seconds and reactivates if the movement continues. Hopefully the batteries should last OK, as the light is motion activated only. And unlike my wired one, I can switch this one off by removing the batteries! So far, I’m very happy.

Put this up over my rubbish bins it's ideal for the job and worth the money

This seems a nicely well made product. It looks good, like a CCTV camera and has a decent bright light. However my did not come with instructions (though it is easy to figure out), nor did it contain the 3M sticky pads meaning I had to drill the wall and use the provided screws. So installation was not as quick and easy as some suggest.

The light was bought for a side passage so I can see which bin I am using at night! It was easy to fix and works beautifully, being bright enough to see clearly and with the motion sensor ensuring minimal battery wastage.Unfortunately, the wind whistles down the pathway and the vibration blew the assembly apart and I found it in pieces one morning. I bought a replacement and mounted it in a more sheltered position. Same thing happened again. I repaired it with strong "outside" glue, (which means you can't adjust it any more) but the assembly that holds the lamp in place is plastic only "a few thou cm" thick which is brittle and easily breaks.For that reason, I can only give 2 stars, but a full 5 for "Ease of Installation" and "Brightness" (one of the brightest Battery LED Lights I have ever seen).If the manufacturers can design the assembly a wee bit stronger, this would be an outright winner!

Not the most powerful and brightest of lights, but it is good as a deterrent. May be better used in a shed rather than outside maybe. But it works and it is good value for money.

Did the job I wanted and easy to fix.
