Snell + DOT on a budget
Fits a little more snugly for a Medium than I am used to, or like. I think if I bailed off the bike and hit my head, I'd end up biting holes in my cheeks. It's getting more comfortable over time, though. And holes in my cheeks are not really top of the list of what I'm worried about, so I like having the Snell rating on this helmet.I think that the method of changing the visors could be improved, but my last two Bilt helmets also had this same stupid tab/spring system that's a bit for me like assembling a jigsaw puzzle. I can't quite get the visor to sit flush with the helmet, there's a small gap on one side that lets cold air in to wash over my eyeball. Tried removing and re-seating it, no luck. The colors look really good. <--least important to meThe airflow vents, as I've also noticed on Bilt helmets, seem more cosmetic than anything else. I've messed around with them in different configurations and the only one that seems to have a noticeable effect is the one on the chin guard.

Great Value
You cannot beat the quality of this helmet for the price. I have never worn or bought a helmet before as I just bought my first motorcycle but for a Snell tested helmet this was and still is a great deal. Lots of color options is nice; I bought matte black but I am sure it is great in any color (although black does get a little hot on sunny summer days).I was a little worried picking the size because I was just over the measurement for the XL helmet and being just into the XXL size bracket was slightly concerning as I did not want to be swimming in the helmet. I went for XXL knowing I could always exchange the helmet and it turned out to be spot on. The sizing chart provided is on the dot.Overall a great buy. Good quality. Nice venting. Sleek appearance. And Snell rated so you know it will be extremely safe. 10/10 would buy again. It does whistle a bit with the visor up if your head is in just the right position but with the visor down it is perfect and whistling is easy to avoid and is hardly noticeable.

Looks classy, feels safe.
This is the second helmet I have owned and the first I got to choose. Bought it to replace my mainframe halo, and definitely this is an upgrade. Very light, vents all open and close. Open, I get an excellent amount of circulation. Living in Florida breathability is a must, do or die. A little more road noise then the Halo. Sounds similar to a ambulance siren over 35 mph with the visor up. With the visor down there is some wind noise on either side of my neck, not too loud, but enough to notice. Interior is breathable, comfortable and easy to clean so far. Extra visor was awesome. The double D ring loop closure has a snap on the end of the tether which clips up to avoid and loose flapping. Looks classy, feels safe.

It probably goes without saying that this helmet is better in just about every conceivable way compared to the ...
Before this all I had was a 3/4 Fuel helmet from Walmart, so that's what I have to compare. It probably goes without saying that this helmet is better in just about every conceivable way compared to the last helmet. The interior is nice and comfortable and the sizing chart is accurate. (my last helmet was a large but I sized at xxl for this helmet and the fit is great.) The visor lock can be operated with one hand and both it and the chinstrap can be easily opened with gloves on. Most of the local places don't even carry Snell helmets and forget getting one for $80. The vents aren't great and I have to crack the visor in hot weather but that's not surprising for the price. Also a big fan of having the smoked visor included. My bluetooth earbuds fit inside it no problem which was a great bonus and surprise.Shipping was fast. When I had a minor cosmetic defect with the helmet the seller was very prompt in offering an exchange. Since I didn't want to be without the helmet while I waited we were able to work something out rather quickly. I would definitely order from them again and I would definitely recommend this helmet to anyone wanting a very safe helmet on a budget.

Like others the sizing can be tricky
For a 2010 Snell Helmet the price is right. I purchased this for the price and for 1/4 mile drag strip racing. Not sure I would commit if this was for motorcycle use. Like others the sizing can be tricky. I measured a 23" so I ordered the XL. I thought about the XXL since I was on the edge of sizing but thought it might be too big,,, well I should have gotten an XXL. The XL fits but very snug . If in doubt go one size larger. The helmet came complete with visor, bag and smoked visor.

Uncompromising safety, well built, very comfortable.
This is, hands down, the best you can get for the price. It is well built and feels very solid. These are no creeks in the vents, the visor moves smoothly, and there are no bubbles in the finish. It is one of the most comfortable helmets I have tried. The ventilation is good and will keep you comfortable. The vents are well located so it is easy to adjust them on the fly.In this price range you will just not find another helmet that is this attractive, well built, and comfortable without making any compromises on safety. I would take this helmet over many in the $300+ range.

Very good for the price
this is a great helmet for the price. I had been doing some autocross and had borrowed helmets thus far, but I knew I would cherish having my own shiny helmet.I have also gotten to use it going to the local go kart track so it is seeing more frequent use than just a few months of the year.Comfort wise, it fits and feels very nice. It does not work very well with glasses though (I don't believe any helmets really do) so I would advise one-day contacts.Over heating hasn't been an issue so far but along those same lines it isn't the lightest helmet and that is certainly part of the price point.Overall, a great helmet and I really like the red and black design.

Great helmet
$90 for a snell 2010 M rated helmet is a great deal. The best cycle gear had here in town was $180; twice the price. I'm very happy with my purchase. The helmet fits me well and is comfortable. I use it for NASA, SCCA, and ProAutoSports auto racing events here in town. I would recommend Typhoon Helmets.
