USELESS ON PANTRY MOTHS
These don’t work on pantry moths, at all. I own a parrot so I’m constantly battling pantry moths from the bird seed/nut mix. I placed 4 of the Terro traps all over the house and only caught 3 over a week. So I tried MaxGuard’s pantry moth traps and those caught them all (and you get double the traps compared to Terro). Pic is of a MaxGuard trap on the right and Terro trap on the left, both left out for one week (and yes, I put the hormone tablet in all of the Terro traps and they still didn’t work).

Stop the pantry moth life cycle.
These definitely do catch moths. After a serious infestation and caused me to empty the pantry and throw out food and repackage others, these traps help with catching any leftover critters that hatch from eggs we didn't remove. If you get an infestation, you need to clean out the pantry. Yes, really clean it out. Any unsealed boxes may have been compromised. I had instant oatmeal packs in a box and they got in and laid eggs. If you have a bag of rice where you roll up the end to seal, it's most like infected. Cleaning and vacuuming are the only way to get rid of these moths. Remove the shelves and wipe everything down. Even then, you may not get all the eggs which are about the size of a tip of a pin. Wipe down the food and and cans as well. If you have the space, install the traps in the empty pantry and outside of it for a few days and let them do their work. You'll catch those suckers. If you have to put your food in right away, just open the traps and put them on different shelves. I think I had about 4 traps in mine catching what was left. It's been several weeks and the traps were filled with dead moths and i haven't seen any eggs or larvae around.

Cheaper Than Others And Just As Effective..
This is the second 2 pack I have bought of these...Except that the other pack was a different brand and more expensive..So this time I got these and they are the exact same thing. Same size with sticky surface inside, lure pad that you attach, and same instructions. The only difference with these is the other more expensive brand comes already put together with all you having to do is apply the lure pad. These come flat and have to be folded where you might get your fingers on the sticky part...But its simple and the effort is very much worth the savings. Had it up and running in less than 30 sec...As to the way they work, so far this is performing the same way as the other ones I had which is excellent...Though its true that these traps attract and catch only male moths, that is all you need. It will take a few days to be really noticed, but the collection of dead moths will appear in the trap and you will notice a very discernible difference in the number of moths flying around. Without the male moths, the females can't mate and eventually the whole herd dies off...I know for a fact it works just that simply for the other brand I had was up for better than two months and got full of moths and the house was cleaned out...Unfortunately they returned for another season and I got one of these going again to corral the varmints...Though this brand doesn't mention it, the other one said that one of these can easily cover 1200 sq feet. Just enough for one to handle it in my home and I saved the other one...The two pack should be enough for near any size house...In conclusion, this Terro brand appears to be the very same product, and more importantly, is working the very same way as the other brand I bought here which was over $3 more expensive...Just remember to be patient with it and plan to leave it up for at least a couple of months. It's good deal money wise and very effective for your moth problem...( I have researched moths in the house online and don't bother to try to locate the source anymore as they suggest...I just can't find anything). Go for it....Very much recommended..

Wow - but with a caveat
First the unfortunate part - this product is supposed to come with two glue traps and with a "bait" for each. The glue traps were there, but one of the packages for the "bait" was completely empty. By the time I realized this, I'd opened and set up one of the traps AND THE AMOUNT OF MOTH ACTIVITY WAS UNBELIEVABLE! They were going crazy. In less than 5 minutes, there must have been over 100 moths in the first trap. As I tried to set up the second trap and realized that there was no second bait in the bait package, the moths were actually coming to find me (in a different part of the house) because I had the packaging from the first bait used. I ended up putting the second glue trap beside the first to create a tunnel of death for the moths and it seems to be working as well as could be expected. I will be ordering more traps, but I'm irked that the first package didn't come with two baits as it should have.

Works great
These worked great. I put it up and within 5 minutes it had about 15 moths in it. I've not seen any more flying around. I expect I'll need to use the second in a few days. For the price I'm so satisfied. They've been an issue for awhile.

Doesn’t work as advertised
I trust this brand. Now, not so much. I’ve been battling with pantry moths and the product that comes with a plastic holder worked great, but this one was terrible. I bought 3 2pks. I put 2 in my pantry. I put them higher up. I had to use scotch tape at this didn’t have anything to affix it to the wall (I don’t have shelf space in my pantry to put these. I was disappointed that it didn’t come with double sided tape.). I checked them daily for several days and there weren’t any moths caught inside either trap. Then one day while I checked, and watched a pantry moth was literally hopping from one side to the other, not sticking to the glue service and then flew out of it (yes, I removed the plastic covering the glue when I set them up and yes the pheromone square thingy is in them). So it’s completely worthless and I can’t return it since it’s opened and “used”. I will be returning the other two boxes. Do not recommend. (The photos were after 3 days)
