I don't leave my Himalayan salt lamp on all the time or anything like that, but when I do use it I don't like how warm it got with the incandescent bulb (I don't have any interest in special "effects" or anything like that). So I bought this, hoping it would fit fine and thankfully it did. It's definitely longer than the smaller incandescent bulb that was in my salt lamp, but the cavity inside of it was deep enough that it wasn't an issue. It's a little brighter, but not overly so. It's definitely worth it for the peace of mind and the (small) energy savings.

We don't usually pay much attention to the bulbs that come with Himalayan salt lamps where in fact they run too hot - reducing the life of the salt-shell itself and they're usually the worst kind of bulbs when it comes to energy efficiency. This T6 led bulb solves the problem! It's dimmable (and it works like a charm), got the output when you need the extra brightness, does not run nearly as hot as regular bulbs and the small form factor makes it suitable for almost every Himalayan salt lamp. Factoring in the price - it's a no-brainer!

I bought this to replace an incandescent build for a light used for illuminating a large picture. This bulb couldn’t be more perfect. It’s small size fit the light fixture and provided the perfect amount of light. It was not too bright which was my concern before buying it.

I really wanted to replace the incandescent bulbs in the many salt lamps we have with something more efficient. I had a hard time finding something that was both small enough AND had good dimming. This bulb nails it though. Very smooth dimming.These aren't too warm for us, but they do seem more warm than our other 2700K LED bulbs.And even though you can't see the bulb inside the lamp, these are very nice looking lights. I would use them in places where you could see them too.

I'm using these with GE enbrighten dimmer switches and they flicker when dimmed unless i put an incandescent bulb on the same circuit to draw more current. I thing this is more an issue with the dimmer than the bulbs, but there's no indication that the two wouldn't work together...its the same company, so minus 1 star. Luckily i don't have epilepsy, so hopefully i won't go into a seizure every time i try to turn my lights on or off.

It has a classic feel to it but also kinda eerie glow, if you like that kinda thing. It’s a kewl throw back overall.

Bright but not overly white light. Was difficult to tell how long the bulbs are--they are only about 4" which is shorter than I expected. But the amount of light is good, so keeping.
