Very fun
I bought this toy with some reservations about how loud it could be and I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is! My cat had little to no interest in the ball they provide to put in the toy which has a bell in it so I just took it out after the first use. If you have a cat that is responsive to bell toys I’m sure they’ll love the ball. Without the ball the toy is still just as fun, he really enjoys trying to catch the tail. I was also concerned that if it’s a spinning toy, if he “caught it” would it continue pulling and possibly hurt his nails, but it seems to be fine, it doesn’t pull his paws, it just stops until he lets go. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have some sort of suction cups on the bottom to keep it in place. There are little rubber feet but they aren’t super effective. My cat is quite small and he’s able to drag it around quite easily. But overall I am super happy with this toy, and so is my little man!

It’s okay
My cats were kind of interested for a while but quickly lost interest and now rarely even acknowledge this toy. One of my cats is blind so I try to provide toys he can hear. If the ball is in this when it’s turned on, it’s so loud it scares him. If the ball isn’t in it, he has a hard time tracking the “mouse” because it’s so quiet. I think it’s just not stimulating enough to keep either cats attention for long

Highly Recommend Buying This for your cats interaction
The media could not be loaded. I love this product. It’s a great quiet doesn’t move very fast. Doesn’t scare my cats like other ones in the past my cats love it. They play with it all the time only thing I wish it had a rechargeable motor AA batteries, but I bought a battery kit with chargers for like 20 bucks, don’t ever have to buy batteries again great product highly recommend anybody with cats to purchase product. I take my ball and I dip it in catnip and I smashed the catnip into the holes so the ball has catnip inside of it little holes where it falls out and they love playing with it catnip drives them wild and they fall asleep Holding it

Moves too fast and too much to mimic hunting
So, let's be clear on what this thing is:Inside the blue box you see in the pictures, there is basically a fuzzy arm that spins around in circles. In addition to that arm, there is a little yellow ball that has little bells and catnip in it that you drop into the blue box, and as the arm spins around in circles, it bats the ball around. It does change directions and occasionally stops for a second when it does.It moves too fast to be intriguing to my cat. Maybe it's just my cat, but she likes things that pause sometimes and are truly random - which is much more like what, say, a rabbit or a bird would be like outside. This thing spins so fast there's no point in trying to stalk it, and she can't actually grab it anyway, even if it were stopped. It did grab her attention for a little bit. She was curious about it for a while, and she batted at it a few times and then walked away. The motor that spins the arm around is quiet, but the plastic ball isn't. I'm not sure how pleasant the noise is to a cat, but it's not very pleasant to me.I figured this was unlikely to really keep her entertained. How much can you expect of an automated cat toy? I kind of expected it would fail, and it did. But I had to try. Apparently it works for some cats and there's nothing wrong with it, per se, so I'm giving it a decent rating. I recently adopted an older cat who is surprisingly active and wants to play and wants interaction ALL the time, so I'm trying a lot of things to keep her entertained when I can't give her my attention.

NOT WORTH MONEY
DO NOT BUY. Product broke after less than 6 months of occasional use. Very poor quality.

Good value for the money
I got this one b/c it was a third of the price of similar toys, and came with batteries; so it wasn't a huge risk if my guy didn't like (he's ridiculously choosy about toys). But this one seems to be a keeper. I wish it had a slower speed for the more cautious cats among us, but he was definitely engaged by it, sticking his paws in to try to catch the tail. I definitely think the ball helped - he doesn't respond to catnip but the noise & movement of the ball helped hold his interest. This is the one to try if you're not sure your cat will like it or you don't want to spend a lot.

Disappointed
Pros: The toy came with a small screwdriver to fit the excessively small screw where the batteries are located.Cons: 1)The toy only turns on and doesn't allow me to turn it off, so you have to let it run through its cycle (apx 15 minutes).2) The movement of the peice inside is so fast that my cat lost interest. It only stops for point 1 second, then it starts to spin again. In conclusion, if there was a way to slow down the peice inside, have an on/off switch, and/or set a timer for the duration you would like the mechanism to run, the product would be better.

Our cat Loves This toy😻
The media could not be loaded. I got this for my Very hyper cat and he’s entertained for a while! He’s not a cat that’s easily entertained-hes a pandemic baby & only wants human attention or wants to play with us right there watching. It’s rare to find toys he's actually interested in by himself. I’ve tried many interactive toys as He wines constantly for attention. We turn this on in the evenings so we have a little break to make dinner😂 It moves around great & runs off 3 AA batteries. I’ve had mine a while now and it’s held up, it’s durable. Definitely recommend for active kitties 🐱
