WD 6TB My Cloud Personal Network Attached Storage - White (WDBCTL0060HWT-NESN) (Renewed)

These network drives work very well and interface with my other tools just great. Unfortunately, WD is replacing them with a "Home.MyCloud" That was a pure waste of my money. I can set this unit up in my network and start the videos and they will continue to play all videos in the directory. This is great for me.These work great with my Roku and Chrome Cast. If you want this ability without paying a monthly fee for access to your own property, you'd better get it quick. The new version require $5/month for only part if these abilities.

Received a bricked hard drive with missing power adapter. I used a power adapter from other hard drive I had and found that hard drive is bricked. It is a bricked hard drive which some one has returned to amazon and was passed on to me without any quality checks and tests. Further more with serial number I could find that this is generation 1 of mycloud for which WD stopped manufacturing 3 years back. I was anticipating 2nd Gen hard drive, overall it was complete waste of time and item was refunded within 24 hours.

Easy to set up & access my data from anywhere. It works great. Have a lot of pictures & documents. The storage options meet my needs. Great to be able to pull up the data quickly if you organize correctly. Highly recommend

Just opened this and it looks refurbished not new. It did not come in a blue box. No instruction manual. Just the Amazon box and the stickers look nothing like the sticker that comes up and is supposed to have a nine digit number to enter to set up an account. I am returning this item.

It was a good idea but WD failed, horrible app device would go off line after closing the app, if you are the type who loves to troubleshoot problem after problem then this product is for you!

Did not come in an official WD box like the first 2 I bought. Also, no instruction manual. If I were not already familiar with the proper setup, it would have been very difficult to navigate the process.

Like new, works as advertised. Easy to use storage and sharing.
