Perfect for Breakfast Sandwiches
These are perfect for making breakfast sandwiches. People who complain that they don’t work because “the egg leaks out from under the ring” don’t know how to fry an egg. The pan needs to be hot before you crack the egg. I spray the pan and ring with Pam, heat it up, get the egg cooking then cover with a pot lid, add a little water and remove from heat. The steam cooks the top layer of the egg perfectly (just let it sit while you prep the English muffin and sausage). Great find, work great!

A picture is worth a thousand words
I have others versions of this item, and have been using them successfully for years. This is the most useless one yet. I would not recommend this particular one to anyone. This photo is take under ideal circumstances using just one egg. It immediately leaked out the bottom. This is the exact same technique I have been using with the others. The mold is all wrong on this one. The bottom edge needs to be able to form a sort of suction type seal to the oil in the pan in order for it to hold the liquid long enough to solidify from cooking. This will most likely end up in the trash eventually.

Very useful!
A sunny-side up egg is an absolute staple in my breakfast.Previously, I was dismayed and frustrated when the egg white would run all over the pan, forcing me to trim it off when I placed the egg on a slice of toast. However, with this product, the egg white is completely contained in a perfect circle. I no longer waste that egg white, and it also fluffs up a bit for a stellar texture! It is a high quality silicone, and to clean it, I simply pop it in the dishwasher.I highly recommend buying this mold if you love eggs!

Works like a charm !
Love it! I was a little bit worried after reading some reviews but I haven’t had a problem with it, i make sure to oil spray it, I let it set in the pan for a little bit before i pure the egg, had no spills and has worked like a charm in both sides ! Even my 18 years old son was able to use it without a problem.

Not Worth It.
When I purchased these I also bought a brand new, perfectly flat, griddle pan. I set these on the hot pan square side down, cracked an egg into it and the egg promptly ran out from all 4 sides. So WTF is this for? They're way small, I expected the square side to be the size of a regular piece of bread, about the size of an American Cheese single. Not even close.Well, they're dishwasher safe. Yea! Now they can sit in my kitchen drawer forever. They're pricey, but would've been totally worth it to make up eggs for breakfast sandwiches ahead of time. Instead they're just a waste of money.

Holds It's Shape
These silicone egg rings work really well. Love how you can flip from circle to square. Gives you the option of toast or muffin. Sometimes they leak out a little, but doesn't happen very often and it is so minor it doesn't matter,(unless you are a perfectionist) . The handle moves easy for positioning under a lid. They can get a bit hot if you lift by the metal. I liked them so much I got a second set to use when family comes by.

Better in theory than reality
This was an interesting idea to have both a circle and a square shape and one mold. I particularly like the fact that the handle fell down so that it’s possible to put a lid on the pan while cooking. However the size of both shapes is on the small side, and I found that the metal rings actually cook better and leak less. I have been experimenting with both this ring and a set of nonstick metal rings for the past couple weeks, and I have decided that I’m going to keep the metal rings and toss this one.

Great concept, but not effective
I always want these molds to work but they never do. :/ Boyfriend bought it for egg sandwiches, unfortunately the egg leaks right out the bottom and just gets all over the pan anyway. Tried using it at a higher heat to see if that might seal the bottom; it worked somewhat, not as much leakage, but then we were left with overcooked egg on the bottom and an undercooked top. My recommendation, just use one of those one-egg mini pans, much easier to work with.

Works exactly as advertised
Two Steps Needed:1. Make sure the pan is hot (ever drop an egg on a cold countertop? White just spreads all over). Some people complained that the egg seeped under the ring - reason - pan not hot enough.2. Run a knife through the yolk - otherwise the yoke will explode and make a colossal mess (same thing as happens if you try to 'poach' an egg in the microwave). No need to grease the ring, IMO. And the ring is easily is lifted off the egg so it can flipped if desired. I think my breakfast sandwich tasted better with this ring than when using my old approach of scrambling an egg in a small round dish.

Can be used for square and circle half fry.
Built quality is good. Only issue I found was it's size and diameter. The half fry rightly fits the bread slice however a little bigger would have been better. Light in weight and needs to be pressed a bit so that the white doesn't seep out.

Smaller than expected
Wanted to have square-shaped fried eggs for sandwiches and it’s a pity that they only covered 2/3 of the bread slice. If they were actual square-sandwich size, you’ll have a winner.
