It shed the light rain very nicely and was the perfect size to cover the cycle ...
Used this lightweight tarp for an overnight motorcycle camp out. It shed the light rain very nicely and was the perfect size to cover the cycle and still give me space for cooking, lounging. As with all tarps, once weighted with the rain, you need to go around and tighten the guy ropes to remove sag. I use a extra para-cord to carry the weight of the ridge line of the tarp, as we were taught at our Philmont Scouting High Adventure. As seen in the photo, I used a hiking pole and my windshield for anchor my ridge line. I never rely on any grommet to hold and carry that weight, especially if any wind is blowing. I really like the packed size, the guy cords and the stakes. However, I have found that getting everything, tarp, stakes and supplied guy lines back into the original bag after use is very difficult. I think the tarp manufacturer planned on this eventuality and provides a separate small pouch to hold the stakes and the guy lines. I actually prefer this system, as I prefer to keep sharp pointed objects away from my tarp. I just tie the two draw cords of the two pouches together so they do not get separated, Perfect price/value and quality for my needs.

Spectacular, Affordable, and Quality-made Rain Fly
This rain fly is spectacular! I've been on the lookout for one for a while and just wasn't having much luck finding one that was affordable and quality. Well, I'm happy to say my search is over. This rain fly is extremely well made, very durable, and has all the parts you need for an easy setup. I really appreciate the instructions that came with it too. I have an ENO I set it up with, and it could literally not be any more perfect. I'm going to be going backpacking in the north Georgia mountains this weekend with it, so I will update once I experience it out on the trail.

Very decent for the price level.
This is not the lightest rain-fly nor the heaviest. The quality is decent for the price and has lots of accessories included. For example, the Paracord included is plenty for most camping applications as they are really long (many sets will require purchasing additional cord as the amount included is not plenty). You can use this as a canopy (I did), shelter or roof for your hammock. The material is rain-resistant and well stitched. However, my bag arrived with the pouch torn on the sides, so I deducted a star. This set also comes with stakes, but they are not usable as they are really thin and short to wield any force in real life. Overall, this is as good as you get these days for under thirty bucks (for the ultimate, you need to spend close to a hundred in my experience).

but I found it worked best to cut one of them in half and tie ...
After two weekends, one with a severe rainstorm, my rainfly has held up very well. It works with my eno doublenest. I'm still unsure as to why they provided 2 of the longer guyline ropes, but I found it worked best to cut one of them in half and tie through the rivet at each end to the respective tree to prevent the tarp ends from sliding inward toward each other. It kept it nice and taught, everything remained bone dry.It also doesn't get too hot during the morning hours-it provides enough shade to stay comfortable when the sun is right on you.

Nice tarp, but size not as listed
Hi, the tarp is very nice and is probably great for hanging over a hammock, but we bought it to use under a 10x10 tent, and it did not work for this purpose. Even though advertised as 10x10, it was actually about 9'3"x9'8" and not rectangular, as the sides narrow toward the center. Just wanted to let future buyers know that it's not a good choice for an undertarp for a 10x10 tent.

Great, Great, Great
I used this for the first time this weekend with my Eagles Nest Hammock and I could not be more pleased. It seems to be of rather good quality and has everything you need all in one stuff sack. I only used the one longer line as a ridge line and had no problems with it coming apart or anything. I'm assuming you can use it in the hot summer months as a sun shade if you flip it upside down and use the reflective, shiny side to block some rays. All in all it will be a main pack of my camping outfit for a good while now

Not 10 x 10
This may be okay for some purposes and the material appears satisfactory. However, I wanted a true square 10' x 10' piece of material as it was advertised. This is just under 10' at the corners and shrinks to nearly 8' wide in the center. Don't buy this if you need a true square 10' x 10' piece of material.

First one ripped...replacement works better (updated review)
Finally got to try this thing out yesterday and the grommets are already ripping away from the tarp...if you're looking for durability, this is definitely not the product for you...working on a refund now...will spend more money for a more RELIABLE and DURABLE product...hope this helps someone who's thinking about buying this tarpUpdate:I contact the company and was sent a replacement with "reinforced tie outs" instead of just the grommets...I've used it once and it held up fairly well...bumped my rating to 3 because the replacement I was sent was not the original color I ordered and because I had to get a replacement in the first place...will use and abuse this tarp til it rips...we'll see how long it lasts...then I'll buy a higher quality tarp...I'll admit one thing about my whole experience with this tarp; the customer service was quick, polite, and on point so thank you Vigor, for your awesome response
