Very good quality but......
This opener is very well made and easy to use but the spiral screw is too thick so on an older real corkit tends to tear and break it up into pieces so you have to be careful. This makes enough of a difference to me that I would return it but I'm past the 30 days so I'll have to live with it knowing that most wines today have newer synthetic corks that I'm hoping won't be a problem.

Good product, good price too.
This corkscrew is well made, no "slop" between parts. Works like a champ. I am glad I chose this one. I am quite pleased with this product.

Great Wine Cork Remover
As a senior I find this opener simple & easy to use. It worked perfectlyon my first try. Didn't need great strength, just patience to move slowlyand follow the directions on the box [very clear]. Didn't shred the cork.Very nice!

Excellent cork screw
This corkscrew has the screw centered along a perpendicular axis. The result is that the cork is entered perpendicularly into the top surface of the cork. This makes the entry of the screw into the cork clean and straight with no destruction of the cork.Other corkscrews have screws which are off-centered and are formed like a curlicue with the point stopping at angle to the cork surface. The design of these corkscrews often result in cork damage, particularly if the cork has dried up a bit, and often results in the cork breaking apart and not being able to be removedl

Good basic wine opener
This is an inexpensive and good quality wine opener. It is very easy to use and made from good quality material. I donβt have anything bad to say about it.

Design?
The screw mechanism is a bad design. Too thick to penetrate the cork. Tears the cork up and causes a mess. Others openers with a more traditional βscrewβ do a much better job the one in the left does a horrible job. More traditional one on the left is betterThe company reached out to me with an offer to refund. Thank you for your help...very good customer support

Pretty Good
We had one of these for 3 years and 3 months. That is about 2 years longer than any previous openers we have had. It got s steady workout used 5 or 6 times a week so we have just ordered another one.

Awkward to use
This is strangely awkward to use. Even with a small hand, it's hard to get a grip under the wings to get the screw started into the cork. The screw itself is quite thick and somewhat blunt and requires more pressure to start than my ancient el-cheapo winged opened ever did, exacerbating the difficulty of getting a good grip. As for sturdiness, one can only rate that after a year or two. I have a feeling it will still be in mint condition in a couple years, though only because we won't use it.

Terrible Product
Right from the get-go this didn't work. One arm went up while trying to screw in the corkscrew and the other arm didn't so impossible to remove cork. Waste of money.

Cheap and flimsy
I'm very unimpressed with this opener. It is not well constructed and the moveable parts are all loose. I regret buying this and will be going to a real store to buy a replacement so I can see what I'm getting.
