Star Wars The Black Series Darth Maul Ep1 Force FX Lightsaber

Really nice lightsaber. Great and loud sounds and nice crimson red blade that is really punchy in the dark. I bought two halves to make the whole double bladed lightsaber which is even better. The price is fairly steep but worth it now its in hand. Would recommend to anyone looking for a movie accurate lightsaber.

A lovely replica! Is absolutely massive when the two lightsabers are combined. Really nice heavy weight to the hilt and the blade and sounds are a nice touch. A little pricey for both parts but still a lovely piece. My only nit pick is that the blade doesn’t separate from the hilt.

So I had the original Darth Vader lightsaber many years ago, but foolishly gave it to a family friends teenage child a few year back. That one was hard to hold but cool. It didn’t always pick up the movement but the sounds were great and I remember it being reasonably bright.This one I decided to get because, well why not. Who doesn’t want a lightsaber to fling around. But as a grown man child I’m a bit disappointed.Build Quality:The quality is pretty good. The hilt feels solid and sturdy, but it’s not as solid as I was expecting. Brushed aluminium looks nice enough though. It’s quite light and easy to swing around. The ‘blade’ itself is how I remembered it. Fairly sturdy plastic, can take the odd whack, but wouldn’t want to have a proper duel with someone with it. It’s quite a soft plastic too so I imagine it would scratch.The glow:Ok so this is one of the things I was wondering, would it be brighter than my old one? Well no, it doesn’t seem to be. It lights up and you can see it in daylight, but it’s not going to dazzle you! Think glow from mobile phone screen kinda brightness. When turned on it turns on in sequence as if expanding out from the hilt, but in chunks of about 10cm at a time, so kinda feels a bit clunky.Sound:This is where I’m the most disappointed. Though the sound quality is fine, as in it defo sounds like a lightsaber, it’s so quiet. I mean you can hear it, but you could probably play with it at night and not wake anyone, so long as you don’t knock anything over! The movement sounds are satisfying and the idle hum is nice. Just wish it was about twice the volume.Summary:So I’m giving this 4 stars still as it’s a good toy. Give it to a kid and they will be over the moon! But I wanted something a bit more special, that looked and sounded more like a movie prop. This is a fancy toy, a collectors item maybe, but I’m going to splash out on a ultrasaber or saberforge one instead and give this to my nephew after lockdown is over.

So out of pissed nostalgia on May the forth I spent £150 on the second part of the maul lightsaber , if you’ve the cash and more importantly the space you won’t be disappointed! Full metal hilts with the connection section. My only gripe is the faff on screwing the battery section together. Delivery was fine more so dureing the covid 19 situation wasn’t expecting it for months.Summing up great collectible , maybe abit on the exspensive side for what they are but if you get them over time like I did the hits not as bad ........ remember to make some room once it’s complete !

This is a good quality, good-looking product. Unfortunately the sound on it wasn't working. I contacted the seller in case we were just being stupid and missing something but they just offered us compensation. Since what we really wanted was a lightsabre as described, we returned it. Had the sound worked, I would've recommended this as it is a really nice collectable. No option to replace it & the price had jumped up by the time we got our money back, to what I felt was too expensive. Seller was helpful and processed the return promptly. Just a shame it was faulty.

The Fx is amazing the hilt is metal but its got a twist button so to turn on you twist it but ITS AWSOmE

I bought this for my Star Wars crazy grandson. He had one half bought for his birthday that cost £150.00. Disappointed that the price of this was approx £220.00. Shame prices shoot up for popular items.

Espectacular, cualquier fan de Star wars o coleccionista debe tener una, la calidad es asombrosa y los efectos de luz y sonido... alucinante!! Los detalles son muy buenos y el acabado se nota que es bueno.

Ist sein Preis absolut wert. Aufwendiges und sehr hochwertiges Replika. Vielleicht nicht das Schönste aus der Force FX Reihe, aber ein Muss für jeden Star Wars Fan.

Agréablement surpris par la qualité du sabre laser. Je l'ai acheté en ayant un peu peur de me faire "arnaquer" vu le prix. Mais au final la qualité est au rendez-vous (pour moi en tout cas).Reste tout de même un peu cher mais pour les fans ça vaut le coup (versus un sabre à 15-30€ en plastic lambda).

Cumple con lo que es pero me parece caro.
