So far, this has been well worth the investment. My level 1 charger took almost 3 hours to charge my small battery. This 16/32A charger gets the job done in about 30 minutes on 32A setting. Haven’t yet tried the 16A setting. But, with a 40A circuit, the charger doesn’t even get warm. It just does its thing And does it well. The display is easy to read as well. So far, this charger meets all of my needs and was relatively inexpensive compared to other options. My only gripe is that the connection to the car is tighter than the level 1 charger. Other than that, it works perfectly!

It has been working for 22 months without a problem. You cannot leave it outside in cold wet climates as the handle connector which plugs into car is not waterproof and will freeze and not work. I keep the lead inside my garage during winter and hang it outside in above freezing seasons. Until today, I came to check when I bought it, the little lcd screen showed amps, volts, and kilowatt hours put into the car. It still shows amps but the volts stopped working so it no longer shows Kilowatt hours. No big deal as it still delivers 240 V at 30 amps. I checked amps on wires at the circuit panel. hopefully it will continue to charge car.

This works exactly as expected with my BMW. Seems to be well made. One star off because it hangs on the wall by a single keyhole slot. It really needs two slots to hold it in place. I have mine mounted in the garage so I don't know if it is weather proof.

So far it works great. The only minor flaw it has is that that you can't see the monitor when it's plugged in. The monitor faces the same direction as the plus so when you plug it into the wall the monitor faces the wall also. Not a big issue but they need to design it so it will face the opposite direction as the plug. Other than that it works great! I'm able to charge my 2020 pacifica in about 3.5 hours compared to 14 hours with the 120v charger. Highly recommend this product especially since it was a lot cheaper than other products.

If you need a charger for an electric car this is the best one for a level two because it's very simple and it allows you to select the amperage that's right for your home electrical charging station. Also keeping this charger in your electric car allows you options for charging at friends homes and because it has the 16/32 amp switching capability again it's the best cable and charging system you can buy. Because the cable is so simple,, I haven't need to use your customer service yet but I'm sure it's great. I've done a lot of research this is the one you should buy for your electric car. Have a great life focus on the positive be happy help our planet.

Had to return

Worked perfectly right out of the box. I especially like the seamless integration with the charging schedule set up on the RAV4 (to charge during off-peak time); awaiting charging time, the display indicates that it is awaiting the charge signal from the car. Charges the RAV4 from zero to 40 miles in about 2.5 hours.

It was great for the first year. But now it trips the 50amp breaker when I charge at 32 amps. I put it at 16 amps and it charges fine. Car is BMW i3 and charges fine everywhere else. It is installed in the garage and not exposed to weather. For the price I wish it would last longer.
