Very good phone
First of all I will point out this is a heavy phone and you can feel it. The screen make you feel like the phone is enormous but comparing to old phone almost the same size. It is just simply all screen!!!On first thoughts (haven't even owned for 24hr) it is a very good phone. I have been HTC fanboy for the last decade but now they have lost their way. I have never liked the Samsung touchwiz hence not going there. For android this is clean no rubbish and no complicated stuff. Everything is just smooth fast and if your into movies on your phone transfer speeds are crazy. As for the camera I am not one for taking photos and if you want loads get a decent camera in my view.In terms of the figure reader I have had very little issue, basically, I am trying to use part of my figure I didn't register. The art is don't press too hard light touch. As long as you hold it right, it opens every time. Now this phone is lacking wifi charging but for this price and what is has you will lose something, we'll in this case wifi charging.About time oneplus did stereo sound from the phone but still shamefully the sound still is not quite there to what I am used to but still now bad for what poky speakers can do from a compact phone. So if you don't want to spend stupid money (this phone price was already pushing my boundaries) you won't be upset. Easy thing is think what you want from a phone al look at each one.For me happy customer.

Super quick, beautiful display, reasonable price
Went from the one plus 5t to this phone and what an upgrade. A lot faster, refresh rate on the screen is noticeably quick when you're scrolling through pages or reading the news. Screen to bezel ratio is practically non existent.8gb of ram seems more than enough for what you will be doing day to day on a phonem unless you're editing video or are a prolific gamer you won't need much more than this.Price point is quite high but very fair when compared to other flagship phones at the moment. It's nice to see an affordable price on a phone that has a lot of incredible features.Camera pop up is a bit of a gimmick but you get used to it very quickly, in my opinion it's very much worth it when it means you don't have anything to block this very large screen. Watching videos on this is a dream.Quite large in size but fits into a pocket nicely, I would recommend a thinner case to keep the profile as small as possible.Have had no issue with battery life and it's hard to fault when you can charge the phone up to 50 percent in 30 minutes. All in all, great phone if you're looking to spend a bit extra but not as much as the current flagships

Superb for battery life, operating speed, screen and style. Too heavy and lacks some things.
I've had a few weeks to get used to the 7 Pro and it really scores on speed - it's a very, very quick machine - I have the 16GB RAM option and it's worth the extra to have it. Everything from wifi and bluetooth to the camera are really outstanding for the price and particular praise must be given to the screen, which is beautiful and performs really well and to the battery, which is just a marvel for such a capable smart platform. My two main gripes are the weight - I knew from reviews that it was going to be heavier, but it is a bit too heavy for casual use and at times feels like something too heavy to keep up in front of you - I'm a not particularly strong male in my early 60s and found the weight vexing. The other main issue is the lack of external peripheral support - so it doesn't have a plug in slot for an audio cable, a major failing (again, I expected it, but it still bothers) and no support for SD cards. That's a shame too, I suppose given the very large memory and storage, combined with fast cloud service use, it's seen as a lower priority now, but at times you miss it.Generally a very impressive smartphone though, with the above exceptions. The design of the screen moves is a little bit novel but you get used to them fairly quickly. Also of course the phone is a lot cheaper than similar offerings from the two main market players, making it pretty competitive. And it has stellar fingerprint recognition, which makes quite a difference to everyday use weariness.

Amazing value
I went from a Oneplus 3t to this 7 pro and the jump in quality is incredible. But the best part is the price. If you trade in your old phone like I did (got £70 for it so in the end the phone was £300 roughly), this is an INCREDIBLE value for what you get. This was the flagship from Oneplus not long ago. Has an incredible screen (with no notch or hole punch) and it's very fast and smooth. Build quality is solid and the phone looks stunning. The pop-out camera is cool too and I've had no issues or concerns with it so far.The only real issues I've had with this are that the fingerprint sensor can take a few tries sometimes (this only happens on my left thumb but the rest of my fingers seem ok so your mileage may vary). Also, the battery life isn't the best but it charges to quickly that it's not really a problem as long as you keep your charger nearby.Nevertheless, If you're after an incredible phone at an incredible price, this is one to go for!

Second only to the OnePlus 7T Pro, in my opinion
To be honest, it's almost perfect - couldn't find any faults with the phone, or the accessories, except for the pre-applied plastic screen protector, as it has a little bubble right on the right corner, but it can be hidden for a while if you press it away. But then again, this will be different for everyone, and it may have been because of me applying the included case the wrong way or something like that. The software's still the best, keeping most of Google's features, while giving unparalleled smoothness and responsiveness (the 90Hz screen certainly helps, but it's still unmatched on the regular 7, which has 60Hz). If I could ask for anything, I'd love to finally get a Always-on option, and a Pro mode for video. If you factor in design, performance, features, value and user experience, this may very well be the best smartphone of 2019, along with the ever-so-slightly upgraded 7T Pro.
