Works great no issues yet will definitely but from this company again, will update again if any issues arise. I use to be a parts store manager and been dealing with parts for 20yrs. Couldn’t tell the difference between this and the name brand ones.

I'd been putting off this fix for a while because the part is installed behind the glovebox, but it was easier than I thought. Open the glovebox and gently press on the sides and it flops out of the way. The space is limited but not too bad.UPDATE: Lasted just short of 2 years before it failed again. same symptoms as original... fan only works on highest setting. Not sure if this is a problem with the resistor or the design of the electrical system so I'll leave my overall rating unchanged.

Install was easy but the part failed only after 5 months of use. Autozone sells the same part for about the same price and it comes with a lifetime warranty. Save yourself the time and money and go with that option instead.

None of these seem to last as long as the OEM blower resistor in my 2012 Ford Escape (first one lasted 6-7 yrs) before I had to buy a replacement. Ever since then I've had to buy 1 every 2 yrs roughly because they keep going bad. The replacement here always fixes the issue and its likely a design issue somewhere but not sure if its with the blower resistor itself or something in the car that causes them to eventually short and go bad.
