READ THIS REVIEW, IT MAY SAVE YOUR LIFE
In regards to the Pearce Grip magazine extension PG-39 for the Glock 26 Gen 4 9mm.I am a State Trooper with the Utah Highway Patrol. That being said, I carry my Glock 26 on my person at all times while off duty.I recently purchased the PG-39 for the Glock 26 Gen 4 9mm because in the product description it states it will add +3 rounds to the magazine. . . HOWEVER although it does hold the +3 in the mag for a total of 13 rounds. IT DOES NOT FIRE PROPERLY!The 13th round is extremely difficult to load even with a magazine loader, this causes too much pressure on the slide for the gun to function properly.I shot over 150 rounds of department issued LawMan 9mm Luger ammo, shooting with 13 in the magazine and 1 in the chamber. Every single time I shot with 13 in the mag, the first shot jammed the gun. When I downloaded the magazine to 12 rounds, the problem went away.I am taking the time to write this review and contact the company simply because I think getting the word out could potentially save someones life. As a police officer, I count on my equipment and need it to be reliable 100% of the time. And having the first shot jam up on my weapon could cost me my life in a life or death situationIf you purchase this product, please be aware you can only load your initial 10 round magazine to 12 rounds NOT 13!(12 IN THE MAG +1 IN THE CHAMBER)

Great +2 round mag extension!
I got to say that I really liked this mag extension!!I got it for a Glock 26 but here comes the rality....it says that you can get +3 rounds on a G26 and yes you can fit them with much trouble but the gun won’t function properly when trying to shoot the first round... so if you only add 2 more rounds to the mag instead of the 3 that the company mentions in the description the gun works great!!So if you are ok with adding only 2 more rounds to a 10 round mag making it a 12 plus one in the chamber then you will be happy with this mag extension! Now on the grip, the extension does make a great difference on how you feel more comfortable grabbing the weapon, but be aware that sometimes your little finger gets pinched with the extension after shooting the gun!

Otherwise I think its a great extension. I now have 3 of them
I had to sand away a sharp edge in the front, where the extender meets the bottom of the mag.(Look at red circle) It pinches my finger when shooting. I havent shot yet after I did this but Im sure its going to work. Otherwise I think its a great extension. I now have 3 of them.

You gain control (and a couple of rounds)...but you lose liability.
Received promptly in good packaging. These were purchased to replace the base plates on my Glock factory 10 round 9mm mags that came with my Glock 26.If you've never replaced a base plate before a word of caution...My gen4 10 round mags have two tabs, one on each side of the mag tube, that help secure the plate to the mag tube. (If you look toward the bottom of the mag on either the left or right side, along the seam between the bottom of the magazine tube where it meets the base plate, you can see the little tab on each side.) You have to overcome these tabs in order to pull the plate off (while depressing the detent button on the bottom of the base plate). I used a plastic hand clamp (clamping the right and left side, as close as I could get to the seam at the bottom of the mag) which gently pressed the sides of the mag in so that I could push the detent button in and slide the base plate off. Make sure the mag spring doesn't jump out and hit you in the face once you remove the plate.Once that's done the Pearce extensions go on easily. The packaging for the Pearce extension suggests it creates enough space to add three rounds to a Glock 26 ten round mag. Not true. (You've probably read the state trooper's review regarding this and I agree...not a +3 extension.) I would say +2.That said, anytime you alter/modify a manufacturer's original product you enter the realm of 'At your own risk', whether you realize it or not. Changing any base plate, spring, follower, etc., on any brand/size/caliber magazine with an after-market part will put you in the same realm. In most cases a police department, state or federal agency WILL NOT allow employees to change/modify any firearm or accessory from it's original manufactured form. (One exclusion might be iron sights. See...Ameriglo Pro I-Dots). Glock does make their own +2 extension but it wasn't available on Amazon when I bought these. And when you mod your pistol it is vitally important to test the gear in its new configuration multiple times. But once you've changed it (and even tested it a million times with flawless results) you've relieved the manufacture from being responsible for any use of that firearm hence forth. I took two Pearce modified mags to the range and ran about 48 rounds through each. No failures. I dropped tested each full mag (twelve rounds in each) five times; from the pistol, mag release button pushed, from firing stance (about five feet off the concrete deck) and no problems. No rounds popped out of the top and all the extensions stayed in place. Fired the mags afterwards and again no failures. I did not change out the factory spring on these mags, if you were wondering. One thing I noticed...there is a bit of play in the extended mags when you grip and fire. It's similar to when you have a 15 round G19 mag without a sleeve in the G26, just a little front to back wiggle when squeezing the pistol. Not enough to cause a malfunction, but enough to kick in the OCD in me.The Pearce extension adds ample grip for a more comfortable hold of the weapon and it makes the handle easier to index when your drawing from your waistline...which was a huge reason why I purchased these. As it relates to my body build and how I carry when compared to the gun without the extension...the extension doesn't overly change how the pistol prints while concealed.Minus one star due to the +3 statement on the packaging not coinciding with the abilities of the extension when installed.

EXCELLENT. Installed on my Glock 27
Arrived 4 days ahead of first estimated delivery date. EXCELLENT. Installed on my Glock 27 mags. Gives my little finger something to wrap around making it a more comfortable grip. Not to mention that it gives me 1 more round. Add these grip extensions to the Lone Wolf threaded barrel and attached Lone Wolf { Glock contour } Alfa Wolf muzzle brake/compensator that I have and I could shoot this 40 cal all day because of the reduced recoil and reduced muzzle rise. Lone wolf carries different types of barrels and Compensators for most Glock models and calibers. No, I do not work for Lone Wolf..Just thought I would pass on some information. Love Amazon.com, Glock, and Lone Wolf.

These increase the Cartridge capacity.!
Excellent service from the vendor Deguns. Definitely no complaint there. However........Be warned these increase the cartridge capacity. I didn't see that in the description. The reviews sounded like it was combining reviews from the different extensions available on Amazon.I found it out after I placed the order (duh) when i looked the Mfg P/N up on the Pearce Grip site. I tried to cancel it as soon as I realized that. Needless to say they came today. I'm trying to decide if I should keep them or send them back.We have no magazine capacity restrictions here In NC but I go to states that do and some that might.
