New Edge Sports Clear Shield Protection Strips for Woods Topline | Golf Club Head ClearShield

I'm not the best golfer so I occasionally have mis-hits that have damaged my older clubs. So when I got a new set of clubs, I made sure to these clear strips to put on my driver, 3 wood, and hybrid. I won't use the clubs without a strip on it. Since I've been using them, I have saved my clubs from MANY marks that would have damaged my clubs. Depending on how many hits the strips take, depends on how often you have to change them. They are easy to remove and fairly easy to apply. I make them adhere well and to remove the bubbles, I use my wife's hair dryer with added pressure to make them stay. After that, I have no problems out of them. Would HIGHLY recommend this product to prevent embarrassing marks on your clubs. The strips are clear and remain relatively low key as far as appearance as long as you don't have many mishits that cause marks on the strips.

I read reviews that these do not stick to your club very well. But if you apply them correctly they do in fast stick very well. I have play 10+ rounds and haven't had an issue with the adhesive.

I have used these for years. I have seen other posts about how they don't work...don't stick...etc. That is BUNK! If you don't want to see sky marks on your Driver, woods or hybrids then these are the best products made. They are so clear that they're barely visible and thick enough to prevent the paint chips where the crown meets the face. They also last for dozens and dozens of rounds. There are a few things that you must do however to make them work right.1. There are 3 "V" cutouts to help theshield not bubble while placing on curved head. You should cut out an additional 3 "V" cuts to make it better.2. Use a blow dryer to heat up the shield and club head right before application. This ensures maximum pliability and adhesion.I've used these for years and have application down to a tee. Follow those hints and you will save your club heads!

Does not adhere particularly well to the top of club face Thought it would be more permanent solution and last longer

The top edge of golf club drivers and fairway woods is vulnerable to pop-up marks. Just this half-inch strip of plastic tape is enough to protect the club from those awful scars. This saves the value of the club if you ever want to sell it or trade it in. The only drawback: you need to be meticulous when applying. The club surface must be clean and dry. These strips also wear out over the course of a season just from turf and ball abrasion but they're easily removed and replaced. Not brittle but if not securely applied, dirt or grass has a tendency to work its way under the strip, particularly at the strip ends. This compromises the adhesion and the strip eventually lifts. That's when it's time to replace. Otherwise, use of these strips is much better than plain tape.

It is a great product for protecting the golf club. Easy to apply.

Better safe than sorry. These things are hardly noticeable when you put it on (I've noticed that you notice more on the matted driver top (ping or pxg) vs glossy top finished drivers. I have the epic flash and I barely notice them.

I passed these out to my group that I golfed with. Two of them kept getting under their ball at the tee.. Needless to say please saved their drivers from the horrible scuff
