Works great but make sure to read directions.
Perfect replacement. Easy to install. Make sure you read about the R7 depending on the model opener you have. I have an access 3000 and I snipped one side of the R7 lead and left it in so if my photosystem fails I can still use the doors. Also after installing the light works again and the range on my remote seems to be much improved. There is a phone support number you can call if you need more help and Mark is super helpful.

The control board work well
Just purchased this control board a few days ago and installed it today. The delivery is quick and the instructions are precise and clear. I took the old board out but it took me some time to clear the 4 plastic mounting connections. Then inserting the new board in becomes fairly easy. Reconnect the harnesses following the wire color instructions to complete the installation. The more difficult job in the whole process is to disconnect the hardware at the door, manage to take the motor unit down from the ceiling in the garage. You do need a helper or two to safely do that.

Restores operation while adding features that did not previously exist
This replacement board is not overly difficult to install, and eliminates several common malfunctions that occur in old Allister and Allstar garage door openers. If you also purchase the $22 "super remote console" from Amazon, installing this board adds some new features, such as independent control of up and down operation, an emergency stop, and ability to turn on the light without opening or closing the door (handy as a work light).

Good replacement circuit card.. POOR INACCURATE INSTRUCTIONS
Good replacement for my Allister garage door openers (have 5 of them since 1992!) The mechanics of the openers is built to last forever with very little maintenance, but the circuit cards seem to burn out long before the mechanics fail ! I have purchased 4 replacement circuit cards in 26 years but I’m impressed they are still abailable after all these years !! I would have rated them 5 stars, but these are “updated” cards that will not allow partially opening the door and re-closing it again.. These go ALL THE WAY UP before allowing you to close the door.. Annoying at best when you are trying to save heat on cold days! AND.. THE INSTRUCTION SHEET THAT IS INCLUDED IS WRONG! DO NOT CUT OUT THE RESISTOR FOR THE ALLISTER 3000 AS THE DIRECTION SHEET SHOWS, THE CARD WILL NOT WORK UNTIL YOU SOLDER THE RESISTOR BACK ONTO THE BOARD ! (Frustrating waste of time, I assumed the directions would be correct.. As the saying goes.. NEVER ASSUME!)

Works fine- Wiring diagram needs revision
The replacement board was easy to install and worked as was expected. The wiring diagram needs to be updated because this board also works with the 2-wire infrared sensors and that parallel wiring scheme should be shown someplace on the included instructions.

Garage door now works.
Shipped in a timely matter. Got exactly what was described. Garage door works again, after an easy install. That's worth 5 stars! (installed on a Allister ard ii)

Allister garage door opener IIA (around 1992). The door would not close (reopened immediately) and the light was not working. I tested that the reverse switch was working fine, and tried a spare control board (from second garage door) to verify the control board was the issue. The new board worked fine and fit as expected. Would have been nice if the instructions indicated in writing that the connector P2 needed to be installed in reverse in the new board (there was some confusion on that aspect as the new wiring schematic do not match the old one).
