Now don't get me wrong, this isn't the cheapest adaptor but with reviews taken into consideration and my own research, typically if its under £10, expect terrible quality and even the potential for it to be dangerous.I paid £18 for this and when you consider Lenovo official adaptors are about £28, I'm only saving about £10 instead of the £20 or more saving I could have saved by buying one priced under £10. I'm glad I made this purchase though as it's very good quality and well worth paying the extra for.I've had a chance to run it through a few tests including leaving it powering up a computer for more than 10 hours. It handled it fine with no problems at all. The power box felt a tad warm but that's normal. It has had daily use since buying and I've had no problems. In fact an official Lenovo power supply (I use a 2.5a 45w lenovo plug for a laptop) gets much hotter than this after just an hour.I will certainly update this review in future if I experience problems with it but so far with 1 weeks use, it's been fantastic and I've had no problems with it.

Just what we needed - it worked well and allowed us to charge a dead Laptop battery that hasn’t worked for months. Great value for money.

Laptop hasn't blown up yet so so far so good.
