Great price, modern look, sturdy, and easy to put together
This bed rocks! But not literally. Let's face it, we all want a bed that's stylish for what we like and sturdy enough to do the bone dance without too much noise. In addition to durability, we need something easy to put together, move, and to use with or without a box spring. This bed has plenty of positives:1. I'm a 230 lb. guy who typically has girls in my bed between 110-200 lbs, depending on mood. Although I've only had a 130 lb. lady in this one, it surely can hold another 75 lbs of weight without buckling from the thunder hump.2. The bed is easy to put together upon arrival and lightweight. I didn't have a problem carrying to my 3rd floor apartment and it fit snug inside the trunk of an early 2000's model Chevy Impala with the back seats folded down.3. The bed can be used with or without a box spring. I currently use the box spring, but it makes the mattress a little high for my liking and for the design of the footboard area. It doesn't look bad, but I'd recommend just planning on using a mattress.4. It's quiet, minus the occasional sound from the metal poles that go across the bottom when I get out of bed. Depending on how hungover or sore I am, I usually hope right up opposed to rolling onto the very edge just to force myself to stand.5. I like the bed so far. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because it's not a 5-star bed and I wasn't looking for a 5-star bed on my budget. For this price, you're going to like it and I wouldn't hesitate to order it again.

Good deal!
The metal bed is firm and not squeaky as mentioned in a few comments. Just make sure you lock the screws tightly in the end.The instructions were nice, and intuitive to follow. It took me about 3 hours to assemble the whole thing together. But it is definitely not for people with a light heart. Sometimes it is hard to know which way a piece would go and I had to screw and unscrew a couple of times to get everything right, phew! (my failing, not the instruction manual's fault). Probably it was harder for me because I am doing this for the first time. The manufacturers could have done a better job on the finish. It is coarse (you will not like to touch it at all). the edges are pointy, something to be careful of for people like me who keep bumping their knees onto bed corners. The bed slats are locked into place using pins which are much harder to pull out with bare hands and impossible with any of the tools that comes with the product. Be very sure you have got everything right before putting them in. One more thing to keep in mind is while attempting to put it together do NOT lock the screws tightly at first (it also says that in the manual and I found it a very useful advice while building it). Put everything together and only after you are good to go, bolt them tight.Once I was done, the structure felt strong. I have my mattress and its box spring(yes, shock!) on it right now and I am writing this comment sitting on top of it (some 12'' above the ground). I had my friend sit on it with me and nothing failed.Overall I think it is a nice product. I've decided to keep it and sell the box spring.Rating it 3 stars because of the metal finish, pointy edges and the bed slat pins. But a good deal for something costing less than $150.

I love the look and I do NOT understand the comment ...
The first bed delivered I had to return because of a problem with one of the eyelets. The bed is a nightmare to assemble, as it tells you in the instructions to attach part "A" with "C" and screw it into place (screws are difficult starting), however if you op to have a higher bed, you will have to take out said screws to attach the frame. This could have been avoided by stating that on page one, step one in a side note! I had trouble fitting "D" to "E", but after working with it for about 20 minutes I got it to attach.Overall, I love the look and I do NOT understand the comment above saying, "You will not like the feel of the bed, you won't want to touch it" WHAT? Either that person received a bed with a different texture than me or she has really sensitive skin. I LOVE the feel of this bed, to me it feels as smooth as silk! Definitely worth the money AND the frustration of putting it together. I was able to put it together myself, and I had a bad back and bad knees (surgery on both back and one knee) So, if I can put it together, probably anyone can.
