Planting Auger, 4" Diameter

I wasnt sure whether this one worked or not. I had used a product many years ago that claimed it would dig holes, but it did not. So i decided to give it a try. I have miserable hard clay soil, very hard to dig in. I attached an extension cord long enough to get to all the areas, grabbed my 4 inch pots and started. I used a half inch drill although supposedly you can use 3/8. To my great surprise, this worked like a charm.i had followed the directions and soaked the clay dirt before trying to dig through it. I couldnt believe it.it just powered down through that miserable soil and i got my plants planted in no time at all with very little effort on my part. And if you have more loamy soil, it works even better. I ordered and got the 6 inch one. I just wish they made more sizes.Bly

Planted 6 flats of 48 each by myself in like 2 hours, put 2 flowers in each hole augered and its great.
