Dockers Mens Gilmore Leather Casual Fashion Sneaker Shoe

I've had my eyes on these shoes for quite a while. Finally I went for them and I'm glad I did. I will say they are not quite as versatile as plain white sneakers, but it's nice to change things up a bit. The shoes are generally comfortable, though a bit tight at the top, which I remedied by unlacing the top eyelet. The brown is a nice cognac and really stands out. They do scuff rather quickly so grab some shoe polish. The only thing that I really don't like about the shoes, is the way they laced them, but that's of course an easy fix.

The second I took it out of the box I saw how cheaply made the shoe is. I know it's only $39 so I wasnt expecting much, but it is basically $15 Walmart quality. The sizing was definitely too small. I have never barely fit into a size 13 shoe in my entire life but I had to cram my foot into the shoe to fit and I felt like I was about to break it if I left it on. This is another listing which I can only imagine has fake reviews because no one would rate these shoes highly due to the poor quality. I have wasted $39 and now have a pair of usuable shoes. Do not buy these shoes.

I've tried a few styles like this, Dunhams, Kenneth Cole, Rockports, but they either felt cheap or didn't look good. This is the first pair that looks good and feels good, too. Not bad at all for $60. I would give it 5 stars but after wearing Clark Touregs for the last 2 yrs, these are a notch under that in terms of comfort.

I bought the Dockers Gilmore sneaker to replace a pair of Dockers Norwalk sneakers, of which I had 3 colors. The Gilmores feel very different. The uppers are supposed to be leather like the Norwalks, but they feel very stiff. The soles are Vibroam. The Vibroam islighter, but it feels very different from the ribber soles of the Norwalks. I am wearing the Gilmores today and will make up my mind about returning them after today. I like them, but I am not completely happy with them.

I received exactly what I ordered. They look great and are comfortable. I would say, though, that I should ordered a half a size larger than my normal size, due to when I put my foot in the shoe it is somewhat tight and I do not want to ruin the back of the shoe. But then again maybe its just my foot. So I use a shoe tree. But overall, I love the shoes and I love the service. It was delivered on time and in great condition.

Shockingly fast shipping! I’d be lying if I said that was the only good thing. They come individually covered in plastic sleeves for protection. Great to keep dust out. The sheen Laces add a subtle but upscale look to such a comfortable shoe. I’ve already got compliments on them, I’m definitely buying more as gifts!!

Office and walking 4 miles a day. You will love these shoes.
