Great replacement sensor
The sensor for my outdoor light over my garage stopped working. My lights were on all the time. I replaced the old sensor with this one following the easy to understand directions. Three wires. So far it has worked perfectly, coming on at dusk and off at daylight. Great price too! I can adjust the sensor to make it more sensitive but I don’t see any reason to.

Great product
Great product. It works well with my motion sensor lights . Because of the shaded area, my motion sensor lights were coming on. I needed something to cut it off during the daylight and this product work it well.

Easy to install
Easy to install, even for a 70+ year old woman. Installed to replace a photo control that stopped working after about 12 years.

Works well, a little flimsy, but still a good value.
Works as designed. I installed on an outbuilding and added a dimmer switch downstream from the photocell. Works great for keeping the outdoor lighting from annoying my neighbors. Minus one star because it's a little on the flimsy side, and the thin metal shutter doesn't stay put well. Overall, a good value.

Easy to install ...works as advertised
This is the second one of these that I have installed in this light. Unfortunately, the first one quit working after a few months and the light just stayed on. I finally got around to replacing the "faulty" sensor and when I took it apart I realized that the fixture was full of water. I replaced it with a new sensor (different brand) and caulked all the way around the fixture and sealed it up tight. The new sensor worked well however, it stopped working after a few months. I finally got around to looking at the sensor during a heavy downpour and realized that there was water getting into the soffit. This issue has been addressed and now I have put a THIRD sensor up and it works flawlessly. I am not sure but I think that the light will intermittently turn on/off during the night but this has not been replicated repeatedly but I will keep an eye on it. However, I kinda like that it turns on/off randomly.

Good product
How to replace the old one went bad after several years. This one hopefully will last a lot longer.
