KidKraft Magnolia Mansion Dollhouse

Absolutely love this dollhouse!! I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 4 yr old and she was beyond excited to find this under the Christmas tree! The shipment came in a few days after placing the order (free shipping with prime!) and the box had no pictures on the outside so I was able to keep it a surprise :) it does not come assembled and looks quite overwhelming at first but is actually not that bad. All the screws are labeled in the package and on the manual so it makes it pretty easy to find the right ones for the right pieces. Most screw heads are colored to camouflage with the placement so I suggest looking at the placement to find the right one... I had to shuffle a couple of screws at the end but it was not too painful. I layed out the pieces to figure the up/down of the walls, floors, roof... They are numbered but the manual is black and white and I had to reference the furniture to make sure I wasn't putting a piece on backwards. Also, build on a flat surface and not high pile carpet...I kept misplacing a couple of the screws :) The structure is very sturdy and stable, it comes with a wall bracket but we didn't use it.It comes with wood furniture... Bed and night stand, chandelier, working lamp, large stove with working oven doors and stool, toilet with flushing sound effects, bath tub, patio chair, chaise sofa, and a grand piano with sound effects. You can't beat this for the price!Fits all her Barbie dolls perfectly with room to spare. By far away better than any plastic dollhouse out there.I enjoyed building it (maybe it was the 'Me' time and the wine) and my daughter LOOOVES it!! It is very sturdy and can see it lasting many years of play.Con's:- One screw hole was off akignment and I had to use a small drill to make the screw fit. It was not off by much so I'm sure I could've forced it in but I don't want to risk damaging it.- an inner wall piece had a little overhang where it was to meet with the floor to it wouldn't tighten properly. I used a blade to shave off enough to make it flush.-elevator was a bit hard to move, a bit of grease did the trick..... That's it! None real deal breakers!

Okay - so after having assembled both this and a Monster High Deadluxe playset today, I gotta say, this was the easier task of the day. This went together super easily and intuitively. The appropriate screws are color coded to match the surrounding landscaping, they are super easy to screw in and once they're in, they are super sturdy. Not only that, but the directions are waaaaaaay simple to follow and only once did I have to backtrack because I mixed up parts. I would have a screwdriver and a spare hex key on hand for ease of assembly, but otherwise they give you an Allen Wrench. Went together in a few hours. I did get a bit of a workout trying to stick my head into the bathroom to install the stairs!When I was building it, I couldn't help but admire the construction, it's simple, sturdy and super eye catching - perfect for my little girl. It comes with TONS of furniture, and the best part of the dollhouse is the materials. The surfaces seem pretty impervious to sharpie, crayon or other nastiness endemic to small childen (and possibly pets) - I tested this for curiousity's sake and found a simple baby wipe cleaned the surfaces. I'm super excited about that feature (since we can't always control who gets sick, when).I'm totally an advocate for this product now, but I'll try and update the wear and tear. I get the feeling there really won't be much. ;)

This is absolutely the best doll house I have ever assembled or set my eyes on!! There are many pieces to it, however, easily numbered and makes assembly a breeze. Must remind you that it does take time and patience to assemble. But if you enjoy the step-by-step process of seeing a beautiful doll house built then you will enjoy every moment as I have. The house is sturdy and solid. The only negatives is that the lamp that came with the house had corroded batteries in it. I am communicating with the supplier as I write to review what my options are for this. May update this review as time goes on. The other negative is that the balcony looks wonderful but is not meant to hold much pressure or weight. My daughters enjoy placing their dolls on the balcony, however, the pressure makes the balcony fall off. It doesn't come with much furniture so a plus would be a few more furniture items such as lamps and chairs. Other than that, this is an absolutely amazing doll house.

This was my gift to my youngest daughter and I put it together in around 4 hours. First of all, everything was splendidly packed and ready to assemble. Each of the screws was color coded to the alphanumeric part of each wall and brace. I did have to reset the elevator. That is one part of the instructions that was unclear. I do have previous experience in construction and with models, but I believe this is simple enough for the layman to do given a little bit more time. By the way, my little girl loved it. Her eyes lit up on Christmas morning and it was worth every second and dollar spent

It's a really nice doll house. My daughter loves it. I only gave it four stars because of a few issues. First, the elevator door I got is printed upside down. My daughter probably won't ever notice that. But I noticed during assembly. Second, The screws and fasteners are colored to blend in. I didn't see that in the instructions, there's literally no words in the install instructions. Just diagrams. I noticed the different colors then had to guess a bit which ones to use where. At the end it seemed like the number of each color was off a bit. Not a big deal though and hardly noticeable. Third I had some trouble figuring out which side of a wall or door or window was the 'outside'. I actually had to zoom in on the pictures on Amazon to gain some clarity there. It took about 2 hours to assemble being very careful not to break or loose anything.The lamp, piano, and toilet work properly and are a nice touch. My daughter likes toys with buttons she can press to make sounds or lights.

Sabía que era grande pero aún así nos sorprendió el tamaño.Es fácil de montar y las instrucciones son claras pero, hay que echarle paciencia porque lleva su tiempo...a nosotros 2 horas. Tiene un peso ligero así que se mueve con facilidad.La casa viene con algunos muebles y algunos de ellos con detalles que los diferencian: una lámpara que se ilumina de verdad, el piano con música y la cadena del water hace ruido.Sirve para muñecas del tamaño de la Barbi o las LoLLas ventanas de los laterales se abren y cierran al igual que la puerta de la tercera planta. El ascensor sube y baja.Mis hijas, de 8 y 4 años, pasan horas jugando con ella.Sin duda, una compra que merece la pena.

Bellissima casa delle bambole. Adatta anche alle barbie. Materiali molto buoni con istruzioni molto dettagliate. Molte viti hanno anche la testa colorata per essere meno visibili quindi bisogna un attimo stare attenti a mettere la vite del colore giusto nel posto giusto. Tempi di montaggio circa due ore e mezza una sola persona con avvitatore. Molto carini luci suoni presenti nella lampada, nel pianoforte e Nello sciacquone. Le finestre vere sono presenti solo all’ultimo piano: io le avrei messe anche degli altri. Le mie bambine giocano moltissimo. La casa è molto ben strutturata e resistente quindi la consiglio a chi lo volesse comprare anche come rapporto qualità prezzo. Serve solo lo spazio dove metterla perché è un po’ ingombrante

Santa brought this for our 6 year old daughter. She has been playing with it nonstop.The build quality of the house and accessories is excellent just bear in mind it does require assembly - it took my wife and I an hour and a half to put it together (great fun on Christmas Eve!).The instructions were very good, but we did end up having to check once or twice the picture on Amazon just to make sure we got some of the panels on the right way.Good value considering how much some of the medoocre plastic ones cost.

Die Lieferung über amazon erfolgte wie üblich einwandfrei und schnell.Die Teile waren gut verpackt mit Zwischenlagen aus Styropor.Auch das Zusammenbauen (mein Mann) war kein Problem, nimmt aber aufgrund der Größe doch etwas Zeit in anspruch. (ca. 1,5 Stunden). Sämtliche Teile sind numeriert - also mit Anleitung eigentlich kein Problem.Das Haus sieht sehr gut aus und es ist wirklich groß. Auch die Einrichtung ist nett gemacht. (Stehlampe beleuchtet, Klavier spielt ein paar Takte Musik, Toilette mit Spülgeräusch ;-) ).Das Haus ist riesig und wirklich auch für Barbiepuppen geeignet.Bett und Stühle passen für die Barbie nur die Badewanne ist zu klein. (Bei uns können deshalb nur die Kinder-Barbies baden).Trotz der etwas zu kleinen Badewanne vergebe ich 5 Sterne das ich persönlich finde, dass dieses Haus den original B*häusern beim Preis, der Verarbeitung (Holz kann man mit etwas Geschick auch mal reparieren - im Gegensatz zu den unsäglichen Plastikhäusern in KnallPink), der Größe und Ausführung (Farben, Tapeten, ...) weit überlegen.Und das Wichtigste: Unsere Tochter (4) ist begeistert.
