DOSS is the winner
I purchased this speaker along with the Anker Soundcore Boost and the Aomais Sport II+All 3 are great sounding speakers. The Aomais doesn't get as loud as the others but it is cheaper in price and for the price sound good. It's much more rugged if that's what your're looking for. The Anker has such great sound for the size that it is, which is the smallest of the 3. I listen to it and wonder how such a big sound can come from something so small. It has a BassUp button which for obvious reasons, but is more effective when the volume is at a lower level. Higher and you really don't notice a change in the bass and may distort a little but still sounds great without the BassUp. The Anker looks more elegant, it can go with anyone's fancy living room decor and blend in. This speaker really is nice. That said, I like the Doss the most. Mind you, it has more watts and is the priciest. What sets it apart for me is the bass. I sat these 3 speakers side by side and listened one at a time and let's face it, bass is king. The Doss definitely has the best bass response of the lot. You can hear the bass roll on the bass notes if you know what I mean. There is an extra bass button and even at higher volumes, you don't get that distortion. The highs and mids aren't lacking either but most speakers have those, its the bass that is harder to find and this speaker has the power. Yes it has a light show but I don't need all that so I turned the lights off, which you can do by pressing and holding the extra bass button a few times. Not as elegant looking as the Anker because this a party type speaker but still looks really nice and sounds even better. And it came in green, my favorite color!!!I recommend all 3, Aomais for good sound around water as fully waterproof or hiking because you can strap it to your backpack. The Anker if you want something smaller in size with huge sound, a speaker that fits with the style of your room, any room. The Doss if you want good clean clear sound with excellent bass to match. Enough said.Only thing I didn't test is the battery life, so you will have to take the product's word for it.

Once I figured it out it was great
I received this speaker as a Christmas gift in 2022. When I first tried to get it to work, I couldn't get it to sync to my laptop computer. I tried messing with it for a while, but finally gave up. I got frustrated because it was just one more thing I had to deal with, and I wasn't in the mood and I didn't want to deal with returning it, so I set it aside. Fast forward to March when I noticed it sitting near my desk. I decided to give it another go since my mother-in-law had taken up to watching shows/movies with me on my laptop. I have been trying to wean her off cable, since AT&T has gotten beyond ridiculous with their TV prices and my wife, and I hardly ever watch cable anymore. Anyway, when I first turned it on, it automatically synced to my laptop. Back in December, I couldn't even get the colors on the speaker to work. Great, it's working (even the colors). so, my mother-in-law and I used the speaker for a few hours, and it worked really well. My 83-year-old mother-in-law really liked it. She said it was nice not having to strain to listen to the show. Even with her hearing aids she has some difficulty hearing. Then I go to use it a second time, and it doesn't work! Now I was really frustrated, but I decided to try and figure out why it stopped working. While messing with it, I decided to choose the headphone mode while in my settings on my laptop. Why not I tried everything else I knew to do, and boom, it worked. There is about 5 to 20 seconds of silence before the sound comes through the speaker when you first turn it on. Now that I can get it to work like it is supposed to, I love it. It has really good sound and the lights are fun. The only issue I still have, is that when I check the battery level for the speaker on my computer it is consistently showing a low battery level even though I have tried to charge it both through my laptop and by connecting it to a wall outlet. The red light goes out after a while when it is plugged in, which to me indicates the battery has been charged. I have used it for several hours and it hasn't quit yet. I decided not to charge it for a while and see what happens. If I can't get it to charge, I will be back to change my review.Update. I let the battery fully discharge while watching a show. I then charged it using my laptop. After a while it did show a full charge and it seems to be keeping up with the amount of charge that should be left based on my usage.

Excellent speaker and Loud!
Excellent and loud sound from a small box! I have a large blue tooth speaker that I have used for years but in a lot of cases it is to large to tote around. I bought this one to use in my golf cart and it is just the best thing ever. You won't believe how big the sound is coming from such a small box! It has a rubber type coating and appears to be very durable.

Affordable speaker with great sound
Very durable, sound quality is great especially with the bass function. Great size and portable. Would be five stars if the lights, when im in the mood to use em went with the music. Easy to connect and even easier to use. Not a bad speaker at all. Works great even on calls.

By far one of the best BT speakers out there!
I have had this speaker for 4 years and have used the heck out of it. Its been accidentally left outside in snow, rain, and 100° temps and was perfectly fine. I use it daily and loved it! But it will no longer charge and i believe its because the port to plug the cord into is broken. Im sad I can't use it anymore! Hoping to get another one some day, because this speaker outlasted all the others I have tried, and sounded better than them too! The bluetooth has a pretty far reach, and i took this speaker everywhere. Its been dropped, partially ran over (that was year one), snowed on, rained on, kicked (accidentally lol), left in 100° sun, forgotten in below freezing temps, pecked on by chickens... you name it and this thing has probably lived through it. As you can tell by the photo, this speaker has been put thru it and still sounded amazing. Taken out by its own charging port. RIP.
