This is one of the best shampoo bars I’ve used! I’ve tried a lot of them, high-end to reasonable priced. This falls in the middle price-wise. Lathers really well and the lather is silky feeling. Cleans and rinses well. Very light scent. Only con is it is very small for the price. Will come back and add to this after I see how long it lasts. Hair is left nice and shiny.

It's hard to know which bar to choose. But, this works very well for lift, without being itchy, stinky or making hair rough.Used with light application of (blue?) conditioner for slip, gives volume and some curls.Surprisingly pleased. Recommended for super fine hair.

This shampoo bar has an awkward shape to hold for lathering the hair. Something flat and circular or square is much easier to handle.I will buy something easier to handle next time.

No plastics! On the pricy side but lasts long specially conditioner, gives good moisture and softness. One of the better shampoo and conditioner bars

I love this shampoo bar! It’s easy and mess-free to travel with, which is great. I really enjoy the smell. It lathers up great (you just may need to wet your hair a little bit more than with liquid shampoo). My hair feels very clean after use but not dry and stripped. I do use conditioner afterwards, too. Best of all, I’m so pleased with the ingredients. Hasn’t bothered my skin at all!

After weening off cleansing conditioner after many years because it was getting so dang expensive, I was on the hunt for a good-for-your-hair product that was also eco friendly. I'd always been intrigued by bar shampoos, and after a good amount of research, I decided to try HiBAR. It exceeded my expectations - great lather, clean ingredients, lasts a long time & leaves my hair feeling great! I couldn't be happier. My *teensy* con is the scent - for me, it's just slightly overpowering. That being said, there are various other options I can try, including the fragrance free version. I don't think I'll ever go back to regular shampoo again!

I love the way this product lathers and cleans my hair—I never have any residue left from hair products after I use it. Only rated 3 star for moisturizing since I don’t think that’s the goal.I have not noticed a particularly volumizing effect. It helps with the oiliness (I have pretty oily hair, but it’s not out of control) but not more than any other shampoo for dry hair. That said, it does the job and it does it well.BUT THE SMELL. I bought a solid conditioner from Hibar before and it also smelled bad, but I figured it was just a matter of taste or a one-off, so I gave them another try. This is a different scent (first one was some sort of orange, I believe?), but the underlying scent is still there.It smells like pee. Specifically, cat pee. The top notes are there: orange, lime, fresh, whatever it claims to be. But the overwhelming scent of the product is not dissimilar to urine. I haven’t had COVID; this isn’t a Yankee Candle “why-can’t-I-smell-it” type of deal. It just straight up smells like urine. I can even smell it when I walk into the bathroom, without even using it (yes, I clean my bathroom, it’s not that.). It’s really unenjoyable. I like the products well enough, but not so much that I want to suffer through a pee stench to use them. I want my hair to smell good, or at the bare minimum, at least not like urine.I figured I was going crazy since I haven’t seen many other reviews complaining about the smell, but my boyfriend noticed the same thing. The first time he used it, he said it smelled like cat pee. And that orange conditioner bar I bought a few months back also smelled like pee. I don’t recommend for this reason. If you can’t smell or like the smell of pee, I do recommend. Solid product otherwise.
